Website design for landscapers

# Landscaping and lawn care website design, *season by season*

People hire a landscaper on the strength of yards they've seen, so a landscaping website has to show your best work, the services and towns you cover, and a quick way to request an estimate. We build it from a short brief and send a free first draft in 5 to 7 business days. Most landscapers choose the Pro launch, $999, so each service gets a page of its own.

[Start your site](https://ciderwebsites.com/contractors/start?plan=launch_pro) [See the work](https://ciderwebsites.com/contractors/work)

- Free first draft
- Fixed price from $499
- Pay only at launch

We usually recommend the [Pro launch](https://ciderwebsites.com/contractors#prices): up to 15 pages, $999 once.

## What a landscaping business website needs

Yards shown season by season, mowing and maintenance plans set out plainly, the towns you cover, and estimates that arrive with details.

- **Your work, by project and by season** Finished jobs grouped by kind (planting, patios and retaining walls, lawns, full redesigns), with before-and-after pairs and, where you have them, the same bed in spring, summer and fall. Homeowners pick the crew whose yards look like the one they want.
- **A page for each service you sell** Landscape design, installation, hardscaping, irrigation, lawn care, seasonal cleanups and snow removal each get a page: what's included, who it suits and how to start. Someone searching for a paver patio and someone searching for weekly mowing each land on the page that answers them.
- **Lawn care and maintenance plans, spelled out** Weekly or biweekly mowing, fertilizer and weed control programs and full-property care, each with what a visit includes, how often you come and when the season starts and ends. Recurring work is the steadiest income most landscapers have, so it earns a page of its own and a clear way to sign up.
- **The towns you cover, in words and on a map** Your service area listed town by town on the home and contact pages, with a map beside it. People outside your range don't spend a call finding out, and the neighborhoods you want more work in can see you'll come.
- **Estimate requests with details, credentials beside them** A short form asking the town, the kind of work, the yard's rough size, the timing and a budget range, so a full backyard design stands out from a one-off cleanup. Next to it: your insurance, any landscape contractor license and, if you apply fertilizer or weed control, the applicator license your state requires.
- **A home page that follows the calendar** Lead with what's timely: spring cleanups, summer irrigation checks, fall leaf removal, then snow contracts. On the care plan, swapping the seasonal banner and reordering the services fits within the 4 small edits a month.

## The pages a landscaping business site usually has

- Home
- Landscape design and installation
- Hardscaping, patios and walls
- Lawn care and maintenance plans
- Irrigation
- Seasonal cleanups and snow removal
- Portfolio by project and season
- Service area
- About the crew, licenses and insurance
- Request an estimate or consultation

### Which plan fits

Landscapers with a page for each service, from design and hardscaping to weekly mowing and snow removal, and a page for each main town they cover, soon outgrow a small site. That's the **Pro launch**: up to 15 pages for $999, paid once when you launch.

### What we link

Quotes, crew routes, recurring visits and invoices stay in the software you run the business on, and the site's buttons open it, along with your financing partner for bigger installs and your review profiles. Requests from the site come straight to you, with no per-lead fee and no commission.

- Jobber
- LMN
- Housecall Pro
- Google Business Profile
- Your financing partner

## What to get right

- **Someone else's garden in the photos** Stock lawns undercut the one thing a landscaping site has to prove, and homeowners usually spot them. Your own photos, even from a phone on a gray morning, do more than a perfect picture of a yard you never touched.
- **No service area anywhere** Leave out the towns you cover and the calls come from too far away, while the neighborhoods you'd most like to work in stay quiet.
- **Mowing listed next to patios** One line reading "design, installs, lawns, snow" tells a homeowner little and a search engine less. A weekly mowing customer and a hardscape client are looking for different things, and each needs a page that speaks to them.
- **A spring site in November** A home page still offering spring cleanups in late fall suggests nobody's minding the business. A seasonal line that changes four times a year shows the opposite, and on the care plan each change is a small edit.

## How it works

Three steps, and most of the work is ours.

1. 5 minutes **Tell us about your business** The short form, or a chat with the team. Send photos, your logo, your menu: whatever you have.
2. 5 to 7 business days **Get your free first draft** Screenshots for computer and phone and a private preview link (2 to 3 business days with priority, overnight with rush). Ask for changes in plain words until it's right.
3. When you're ready **Approve, pay and launch** Pay the fixed launch fee only when you're happy. With the care plan, we put the site live on your domain and look after it; without it, we hand you the files to host yourself.

## Questions about landscaping business websites

**How much does a landscaping website cost?**

Most landscapers choose the Pro launch: $999 once for up to 15 pages, room for a page per service and per main town, and you pay it only if you decide to launch after the free first draft. A small crew with a few services fits the Website launch at $499. Hosting isn't in the launch fee: it comes with the optional care plan, $49 a month, along with your domain and the seasonal banner swaps. [See every plan side by side](https://ciderwebsites.com/contractors#prices).

**Should my landscaping website list the towns I serve?**

Yes. A written list on the home and contact pages tells visitors at a glance whether you'll come, and search engines read town names in text more reliably than a map image. If you want to be found town by town, we add a short page for each main area.

**What should a lawn care website include?**

The plans you sell and what each visit covers, how often you come, when the season runs, the towns on your routes, and a simple way to sign up or ask for a quote. If customers already manage visits or pay invoices in your software's client hub, we link it from every page.

**Can customers request an estimate or a design consultation online?**

Yes: a short request form on your site, a button to the booking page in the software you already use, or both. Each request reaches you directly, and we take no cut of the work it brings in.

**I don't have good photos of my work yet. Is that a problem?**

No. We lay out the portfolio so phone photos look their best, start with your strongest few, and make adding projects through the season a quick edit. One habit pays off: photograph the same view before, right after and a season later.

**How do I get my landscaping business on Google Maps?**

Claim and complete your Google Business Profile, keep your name, address and phone identical to your website's, add photos and reply to reviews. We set up the site to match, and the Google Business Profile add-on keeps the listing current for you.
