Website design for roofers

# Roofing website design that *gets the inspection booked*

A roofing website serves two visitors: the homeowner with a leak over the bedroom tonight, and the one comparing three quotes for a new roof next month. We build yours for both, with a storm line one tap away, the roofs you install side by side and an inspection request that asks the right questions. The Pro launch fits most roofers, at $999, due once you're happy with the site.

- Free first draft
- Fixed price from $499
- Pay only at launch

We usually recommend the [Pro launch](https://ciderwebsites.com/contractors#prices): up to 15 pages, $999 once.

## What a roofing company website needs

A storm line one tap away, roof types side by side, inspection requests and financing, and nothing promised about deductibles.

- **A storm and leak line that tells the truth** A call button pinned to the bottom of every phone screen, with plain words on what happens after a storm: whether you tarp the same day, when the office answers and who picks up after hours. If you don't take emergency work, the page says where to turn instead.
- **The roofs you install, side by side** Asphalt shingle, standing-seam metal, tile, slate and flat or low-slope roofs (TPO, EPDM, modified bitumen), each with how long it tends to last in your climate, how it compares on cost and when it's the wrong choice. Only the materials you actually install, and only the manufacturer certifications you hold.
- **An inspection request worth the ladder** A short request that asks the address, the roof's age if they know it, what they've noticed (missing shingles, a stain on the ceiling, hail dents on the gutters) and a photo or two. If your inspections come with a photo report, the page shows what one looks like.
- **Repair, replacement and storm damage, each on its own page** Someone searching for a leak repair and someone pricing a full tear-off want different answers. Separate pages for repair, replacement, storm and hail damage, gutters and skylights give each search a clear match, in the words homeowners type.
- **Financing, linked rather than promised** A button to your lender's application and the terms exactly as the lender words them, so a new roof becomes a monthly figure people can plan around. We never invent rates, approvals or "no credit check" claims.
- **Licenses, insurance and two kinds of warranty** Roofing licenses differ by state, and in some places by city or county, so we show the numbers you hold on every page. Beside them go your insurance and the difference between the manufacturer's warranty on the materials and your own workmanship warranty, written as you give it to us.

## Sample sites we've designed

## The pages a roofing company site usually has

- Home
- Roof replacement
- Roof repair and leaks
- Storm and hail damage, emergency tarping
- Roofing materials (shingle, metal, tile, flat)
- Free roof inspection
- Gutters, siding and skylights
- Financing
- Service area
- About, licenses, insurance and warranties
- Projects and reviews
- Contact

### Which plan fits

Roofers who want to be found for replacement, repair, storm damage and inspections, and for each material they install, need a page for each, plus financing and the towns they cover. That's the **Pro launch**: up to 15 pages for $999, paid once when you launch.

### What we link

Leads, estimates, crews and job photos stay in the roofing software you already run, and the site's buttons and forms feed into it. We link your financing partner's application and your Google reviews; switch providers and we update the link.

- AccuLynx
- JobNimbus
- CompanyCam
- Google Business Profile
- Your financing partner

## What to get right

- **Offering to cover the deductible or handle the claim** Roofing sites often promise to "cover your deductible" or "handle your insurance claim". In Texas a contractor can't do either: Business and Commerce Code §27.02 bars promising to pay, waive or rebate an insurance deductible, and Insurance Code §4102.163 bars acting as a public adjuster or advertising to adjust claims. Other states have rules of their own. We write what you can stand behind: you inspect the roof, photograph the damage and give the homeowner a written estimate for their insurer.
- **Urgency that sounds like a storm chaser** After hail, homeowners are warned about crews who knock, push and leave town. Countdown banners and "your claim deadline is coming" scares read the same way. Your local address, your years in the area and a calm line on how inspections work earn more calls.
- **A "free inspection" with strings attached** If the inspection is free, say so. If it's free only inside your service area, or only when it leads to a repair, say that too. People who feel baited on the driveway don't sign.
- **Warranty and certification words you can't back up** A "lifetime warranty" is usually the manufacturer's coverage on the shingles, often with conditions, and says nothing about your labor. We write each warranty the way you describe it and name a manufacturer program only if you're enrolled in it.

## How it works

Three steps, and most of the work is ours.

1. 5 minutes **Tell us about your business** The short form, or a chat with the team. Send photos, your logo, your menu: whatever you have.
2. 5 to 7 business days **Get your free first draft** Screenshots for computer and phone and a private preview link (2 to 3 business days with priority, overnight with rush). Ask for changes in plain words until it's right.
3. When you're ready **Approve, pay and launch** Pay the fixed launch fee only when you're happy. With the care plan, we put the site live on your domain and look after it; without it, we hand you the files to host yourself.

## Questions about roofing company websites

**How much does a roofing website cost?**

Most roofing companies choose the Pro launch: $999 once for up to 15 pages, enough for a page per service and per material, paid only after you've approved a free first draft. We write the words for every page, on every launch. A smaller site starts at $499, and hosting, your domain and 4 small edits a month come with the optional care plan, $49 a month. [Every contractor price is listed here](https://ciderwebsites.com/contractors#prices).

**Can our roofing website mention insurance claims?**

Yes, with care. Say what you actually do: inspect the roof, document the damage with photos and give the homeowner a written estimate to send their insurer. Don't promise to pay or waive a deductible, or to handle the claim for them; in Texas both are against the law for contractors, and other states restrict them too. Check your state's rules, and you approve every word before launch.

**Can homeowners book a roof inspection online?**

Yes. Either a short request form that lands in your inbox, or a button to the lead form in AccuLynx or JobNimbus, so the inspection goes straight onto your schedule. Asking for the address and a photo up front helps you sort storm calls by how bad they are.

**Do roofers need a license number on their website?**

Where you hold one, show it. Some states license roofers statewide, some leave it to cities or counties, and Texas has no state roofing license at all, so we put whatever numbers, registrations and insurance details you give us in the footer of every page. Where a state requires the number in advertising, a website usually counts.

**Should we put financing on our website?**

If you offer it, yes: a new roof is easier to agree to as a monthly figure. We link your lender's application from the replacement and financing pages and give the terms only in the lender's own words, never a rate we've guessed.

**Will our site show up when people search for a roofer after a storm?**

No one can promise where you'll appear in search results, storm or not. What helps is a storm and hail page that's live before the weather turns, your service area written out, a Google Business Profile that matches the site, and pages that load quickly on a phone with one bar of signal. For month-to-month search work, add SEO & AEO care to the care plan.
