# Law firm websites that *read like good counsel*

Cider for Law Firms designs websites for law firms and solo attorneys: each practice area explained in plain words, the attorneys by name, how your fees work, and a consultation request that asks only what a conflict check needs. Every site is designed from a blank page for your practice, never a template. Your first draft is free in 5 to 7 business days, and the fixed launch fee, from $499, comes only when you launch.

Our work

## Law firm sites we've designed

Four law firm sites, each designed from a blank page, from the most classic to the boldest. Each is a real, working website: open one on your phone and try it.

1. Classic **Meridian & Vale** Law firm A full-service firm in ivory and deep green: practice areas, the attorneys, how fees are set, and a consultation request. [Open the site (Meridian & Vale, opens in a new tab)](https://ciderwebsites.com/work/meridian-vale)
2. Plain-spoken **Hollis & Reyes Injury Law** Personal injury law firm An injury firm that reassures: what to do after an accident, the contingency fee in plain words, and a free consultation in three steps. [Open the site (Hollis & Reyes Injury Law, opens in a new tab)](https://ciderwebsites.com/work/hollis-reyes)
3. Warm and calm **Willowmere Family Law** Family law practice A family law practice with a gentle guide to where to start, a quick exit, and a consultation that asks how it's safe to reach you. [Open the site (Willowmere Family Law, opens in a new tab)](https://ciderwebsites.com/work/willowmere)
4. Art-directed **Wayfare Immigration Law** Immigration law studio An immigration studio as a passport: a route that draws itself as you scroll, flat fees on a departures board, and booking. Made for you

## What every law firm site we build does

- **Practice areas, one page each** Each kind of matter you take on its own page: who it's for, what usually happens next, and what to bring to a first meeting, written so a worried reader understands it the first time.
- **The attorneys by name** Every attorney with their practice, bar admissions and the languages they speak, so a new client knows who they'll talk to before they call.
- **Consultations that start the right way** A short request that asks for the other party's name for your conflict check and nothing confidential, or a button to the scheduling and intake tool you already use.
- **Fees stated plainly** Flat fees, consultation fees or contingency terms explained in everyday words, with the written agreement named as the thing that governs.
- **Careful with the advertising rules** An attorney advertising line and a not-legal-advice note in every footer, no promises of results, and no superlatives. You approve every word before anything goes live.
- **Found when someone needs a lawyer** Page titles that name the practice and the city, your name, address and phone the same everywhere, and pages that load fast on a phone at a bad moment.

Works with what you use

## Linked to the tools you already run

Intake, scheduling, client files and payments stay in the practice software you already run; the site's buttons open them. The website never stores client documents or case details, and if you change providers we change the link.

- Clio
- MyCase
- Lawmatics
- Calendly
- LawPay
- Google Business Profile

Three steps

## How it works

Most of the work is ours. You tell us about your business, we design it, and you launch when you're happy.

1. 5 minutes **Tell us about your business** The short form, or a chat with the team. Send photos, your logo, your menu: whatever you have.
2. 5 to 7 business days **Get your free first draft** Screenshots for computer and phone and a private preview link (2 to 3 business days with priority, overnight with rush). Ask for changes in plain words until it's right.
3. When you're ready **Approve, pay and launch** Pay the fixed launch fee only when you're happy. With the care plan, we put the site live on your domain and look after it; without it, we hand you the files to host yourself.

## The pages a law firm site usually has

- Home
- Practice areas
- Attorneys
- Fees and how we work
- Contact and consultations

### Which plan fits

Most firms and solo attorneys say what matters on a handful of pages: what you handle, who you are, how fees work, and how to start a conversation. That's the **Website launch**: up to 5 pages for $499, paid once when you launch.

Bigger, or several locations? Every plan, and a custom quote, is below.

Questions

## Questions law firm owners ask

**Not a law firm?** Cider for Law Firms is one part of Cider Websites. [See every kind of business we design for](https://ciderwebsites.com/?all).

**How much does a law firm website cost?**

Most firms choose the Website launch: $499 once for up to 5 pages, paid only after you've seen a free first draft written about your own practice. Hosting comes with the optional care plan, $49 a month, together with your domain and 4 small edits a month for a new attorney, a new practice area or changed hours. [Every price](https://ciderwebsites.com/pricing) is public.

**Can you write about our practice areas without it reading as legal advice?**

Yes. We write general information in plain words, say what a first consultation covers rather than what the answer will be, and put a not-legal-advice line on every page. You review and approve every page before launch, so the final say on what it claims is always yours.

**Do you follow the attorney advertising rules?**

We write with them in mind: an attorney advertising line, no promises of results, no invented case outcomes, and no words like expert unless your state lets you use them. The rules differ by state and we aren't your ethics counsel, so you, or your bar's guidance, have the last word.

**Can clients book a consultation or pay an invoice online?**

Through the tools you already use, yes. We add clear buttons to your scheduling and intake pages, such as Calendly, Lawmatics or Clio, and to your payment page, such as LawPay. The website itself never receives confidential details or payments.

**Will our firm show up on Google?**

Every site we build has search-ready page titles and descriptions, your address and hours in a form search engines read, and fast pages on a phone. For ongoing search work, add [SEO & AEO care](https://ciderwebsites.com/services#search) to the care plan. Our guide covers [getting your business on Google](https://ciderwebsites.com/guides/how-to-get-your-business-on-google).

**We have several practice areas and two offices. Will that fit?**

Yes. Each practice area and each office can have its own page, with its own attorneys and directions. Up to 15 pages fit the Pro launch; larger firms get a [custom quote](https://ciderwebsites.com/start?plan=custom).
