Website design for immigration lawyers

# Immigration lawyer website design that *speaks your clients' languages*

People looking for an immigration lawyer want to know, in their own language, whether you take their kind of case, what a consultation costs and how to book it, and that you're licensed. We design and write it around your cases, in every language you serve. Translated pages add up, so most firms choose the Pro launch: $999, paid once you and whoever checks your translations approve a free first draft.

- Free first draft
- Fixed price from $499
- Pay only at launch

We usually recommend the [Pro launch](https://ciderwebsites.com/law-firms#prices): up to 15 pages, $999 once.

## What an immigration law firm website needs

Visas, green cards, citizenship, asylum and DACA, each page in the languages you serve, and booking with the consultation fee stated.

- **A page for each kind of case** Family-based green cards, work and student visas, naturalization, asylum, DACA renewals, and removal defense if you take it, each with who it's for, the forms usually involved and what to bring to a consultation. Someone searching for a citizenship lawyer should land on the citizenship page.
- **Every language you serve, done properly** Each language gets its own version of the pages that matter, marked so search engines show the right one, and a language menu that names each language in its own script. The words come from translations your firm supplies or a fluent person at the firm approves; nothing goes live in a language nobody at the firm has read.
- **Licensed attorneys, plainly shown** Each attorney's name, the state bar that admitted them and the languages each one speaks, with interpreters described as interpreters. Immigration law is federal, so if your firm takes cases from other states, the site says so clearly for people far from your office.
- **The consultation fee, before anyone books** What a consultation costs, whether it's credited toward the case, and whether it happens in person, by phone or by video. A Book button opens your Calendly or Clio Grow booking, with Docketwise for intake questionnaires and LawPay for the fee. People who can't travel see at once that they don't have to.
- **Dated pages for rules that change** Programs like DACA and the time cases take shift with policy and the courts, so time-sensitive pages carry the date they were last checked, and updating one is a care plan edit. The site tells readers where official processing times are published rather than giving its own.
- **A first contact that asks very little** Name, a safe phone or email, preferred language and the kind of case, with a note not to send status details or document numbers, and that writing in creates no attorney-client relationship. The rest waits for the consultation or your intake questionnaire.

## Sample sites we've designed

Sample sites for made-up businesses, designed to show what we do: open one on your phone and try it. On your site, booking and payment buttons open the tools you already use.

## The pages an immigration law firm site usually has

- Home
- Family visas and green cards
- Work and student visas
- Citizenship and naturalization
- Asylum
- DACA renewals
- Fees and consultations
- Our attorneys and the languages we speak
- Common questions
- Contact and booking
- The key pages in each language you serve

### Which plan fits

Each kind of case, from family petitions and work visas to citizenship, asylum and DACA, is its own search, and every translated page counts as a page, so immigration firms need room. That's the **Pro launch**: up to 15 pages for $999, paid once when you launch.

### What we link

Intake questionnaires, case files, consultation booking and fee payments stay in the immigration and practice software your firm runs, and the site's buttons open each one, in the visitor's language where the tool offers it. Passport scans and status details never touch the website.

- Docketwise
- Clio Grow
- Calendly
- LawPay
- MyCase
- Google Business Profile

## What to get right

- **Promises about approval or timing** "Get your green card fast", approval rates or "a visa in weeks" promise what only the government decides, and can mislead under the advertising rules most states base on ABA Model Rule 7.1. We describe the process and what your firm does, never the outcome or the date.
- **Words that mean something else back home** In much of Latin America a notario is a lawyer; in the US a notary public isn't, and several states restrict the word in legal advertising. Translated pages use the right term for an attorney, checked by someone at your firm.
- **"We speak your language" when only the front desk does** Visitors read a language badge as a promise that they can talk to their lawyer in it. The site says who speaks what: the attorney, a paralegal, or an interpreter you arrange.
- **A form that asks for status details** Asking for an A-number, how someone entered the country or their current status before you've spoken frightens people and collects what a website shouldn't hold. Our form asks how to reach them and the kind of case; your intake tool gathers the rest.

## How it works

Three steps, and most of the work is ours.

1. 5 minutes **Tell us about your business** The short form, or a chat with the team. Send photos, your logo, your menu: whatever you have.
2. 5 to 7 business days **Get your free first draft** Screenshots for computer and phone and a private preview link (2 to 3 business days with priority, overnight with rush). Ask for changes in plain words until it's right.
3. When you're ready **Approve, pay and launch** Pay the fixed launch fee only when you're happy. With the care plan, we put the site live on your domain and look after it; without it, we hand you the files to host yourself.

## Questions about immigration law firm websites

**How much does an immigration lawyer website cost?**

Most immigration firms choose the Pro launch: $999 once for up to 15 pages, enough for a page per kind of case and the key pages in a second language, paid only after you've approved a free first draft. More languages, or every page translated, may need the Signature launch or a [custom quote](https://ciderwebsites.com/law-firms/start?plan=custom). The optional care plan, $49 a month, covers hosting, your domain and 4 small edits a month. [See every price](https://ciderwebsites.com/law-firms#prices).

**Can our website be in Spanish and other languages?**

Yes. Each language has its own pages and its own menu, marked so search engines can show the right version. We write the words for every page, on every launch. The translations are ones your firm supplies or a fluent person at the firm approves, because a mistranslated sentence about immigration can do real harm.

**Can the site say how long a case will take?**

Not as a promise. A page can explain the usual steps and tell readers where official processing times are published, with the date it was last checked, but it won't promise an approval or a timeline, because neither is the firm's to give.

**Can people book and pay for a consultation online?**

Yes, with your own tools: the button opens your Calendly or Clio Grow booking page, in the visitor's language where it has one, with Docketwise for intake questionnaires, and the fee is paid through LawPay or your scheduling tool. The website itself never handles a payment.

**Do we need disclaimers on an immigration law website?**

Usually, and the translated pages need them too, in the same language, which is easy to miss. Most states expect the responsible attorney's name; many firms add a not-legal-advice line, and some states ask for more, such as an "Attorney Advertising" label or a note on past results. We add the wording you give us in every language, and you approve it.

**Will people find us when they search in their own language?**

A page per kind of case in each language, written the way people search in it, and a Google Business Profile that lists the languages you speak all help, though nobody can promise a position in results. SEO & AEO care on the care plan keeps tuning the site for search and answer engines.
