Website design for brokerages

# Real estate brokerage website design that *works for every agent*

A brokerage's website serves three readers: the buyer or seller looking for an agent, the agent deciding where to hang their license, and the regulator reading the fine print. We build the agent directory, office pages and a recruiting page, with your licensed name on every page and your listing search linked. On the Pro launch it's $999, due after you and your managing broker approve a free first draft.

[Start your site](https://ciderwebsites.com/real-estate/start?plan=launch_pro) [See the work](https://ciderwebsites.com/real-estate/work)

- Free first draft
- Fixed price from $499
- Pay only at launch

We usually recommend the [Pro launch](https://ciderwebsites.com/real-estate#prices): up to 15 pages, $999 once.

## What a real estate brokerage website needs

An agent directory people can search by name or area, a page per office, a join-us page and your brokerage license on every page.

- **An agent directory that stays true** Every agent with a photo, a title, the areas and languages they work in and how to reach them, searchable by name or area. When someone joins or leaves, tell us and we update it, one of the care plan's small edits, so nobody calls an agent who has moved on.
- **A page for each office** Address, hours, phone, the managing broker and directions for each office, with the agents who work from it, so a search for a brokerage in that town finds the right door rather than your head office.
- **A recruiting page that tells it straight** What you offer agents (training, mentoring, the split or fee model as you choose to publish it, the marketing and tools you provide) and an inquiry form or a call to book. Recruits want to know how it works, and promised incomes are claims you'd have to defend.
- **Your licensed name on every page** The brokerage's licensed name and license number in every footer, any notices your state requires, and an equal housing opportunity line. Texas brokerages also link the Information About Brokerage Services form and the Consumer Protection Notice from the homepage.
- **Listing search, linked rather than rebuilt** A Search homes button opens the search you already provide through your MLS or your listing vendor, which follows the MLS's display rules and keeps itself current. Exclusive or new-development listings can sit on the site with your own photos.
- **Buying and selling, in the firm's voice** Pages for buyers and sellers that explain how working with your agents goes, from the first call to closing, and a short Talk to an agent request that goes to the office or the agent it names.

## Sample sites we've designed

Sample sites for made-up businesses, designed to show what we do: open one on your phone and try it. On your site, booking and payment buttons open the tools you already use.

## The pages a real estate brokerage site usually has

- Home
- Find an agent (directory)
- Offices (a page for each)
- Buying with us
- Selling with us
- Join us (recruiting)
- Search homes (links to your listing search)
- About, licensing and notices
- Contact

### Which plan fits

Between the directory, a page per office and the pages for buyers, sellers and recruits, most brokerages need more than a handful of pages; a firm with many offices or a large roster gets a [custom quote](https://ciderwebsites.com/real-estate/start?plan=custom). That's the **Pro launch**: up to 15 pages for $999, paid once when you launch.

### What we link

Listing search, lead routing and agents' calendars stay in the systems your brokerage already pays for, and the site's buttons open them. Forms send to the lead address your CRM gives you, so each inquiry reaches the right office, and if you change vendors we change the links.

- Your MLS or listing vendor's search
- kvCORE
- Follow Up Boss
- Calendly
- Google Business Profile

## What to get right

- **Agents who left, still listed** A directory that shows someone who now works elsewhere misleads buyers and implies an affiliation that has ended. Tell us when people come and go and we update the roster, one of the care plan's small edits each time.
- **The firm's name missing from the fine print** State rules and the Realtor code of ethics both expect the firm's name in its ads, and Texas wants two TREC links on the homepage. We put your licensed name, license number, required notices and a fair housing line on every page, for your managing broker to review.
- **A search box that goes nowhere** A "search all homes" box with no feed behind it frustrates buyers and sends them to a portal. We put a clear button to the search you already provide, labeled with where it goes, and we don't build IDX feeds.
- **Recruiting pages that promise incomes** Lines like "earn six figures in your first year" are earnings claims you'd have to stand behind for every agent. We describe your split or fee model, your training and your support as you state them, and leave the numbers to the conversation.

## How it works

Three steps, and most of the work is ours.

1. 5 minutes **Tell us about your business** The short form, or a chat with the team. Send photos, your logo, your menu: whatever you have.
2. 5 to 7 business days **Get your free first draft** Screenshots for computer and phone and a private preview link (2 to 3 business days with priority, overnight with rush). Ask for changes in plain words until it's right.
3. When you're ready **Approve, pay and launch** Pay the fixed launch fee only when you're happy. With the care plan, we put the site live on your domain and look after it; without it, we hand you the files to host yourself.

## Questions about real estate brokerage websites

**How much does a brokerage website cost?**

Most brokerages choose the Pro launch: $999 once for up to 15 pages, paid only after you've approved a free first draft. Several offices may need the Signature launch, $2,000 for up to 30 pages, or a [custom quote](https://ciderwebsites.com/real-estate/start?plan=custom). Hosting, your domain and 4 small edits a month for roster changes are the optional care plan, $49 a month. [Every price](https://ciderwebsites.com/real-estate#prices) is public.

**Can every agent have a profile?**

Yes. Each agent gets an entry in the directory with a photo, contact details and the areas they serve. Agents who want more can have a short page of their own on your site, under your brokerage's name, which counts toward your plan's pages.

**Do you build an IDX search for the whole MLS?**

No. We link the search your brokerage already provides through your MLS or listing vendor, which follows the MLS's display rules and updates itself. The site features the homes you choose and sends everyone else to that search with one button.

**What licensing details go on the site?**

Your licensed firm name and license number, the designated or managing broker where your state asks for one, an equal housing opportunity line, and notices such as the two TREC links in Texas. You give us the details, and your broker approves every page before launch.

**Can the recruiting page take applications?**

It takes an inquiry: name, contact details, current brokerage and license status, sent to whoever handles recruiting, or a button that books a call on their Calendly. Background checks, contracts and onboarding stay in your own process.

**Will each office show up when people search nearby?**

An office page with its own address, hours and agents gives each town's searches something to match, with your details the same everywhere. We write the words for every page, on every launch. Nobody can promise a place in the results; regular search work across every office page is what SEO & AEO care on the care plan does.
