How the studio works
-
The consultation comes first
Ten minutes before every first appointment, free, chair turned away from the mirror. We'd rather talk you out of a fringe than cut one you'll hate by Thursday.
-
Priced by stylist level
Three levels, three clear price columns. You choose by experience and budget, and the price you see is the price you pay.
-
Color checked in daylight
Our north-facing window is why we took the lease. Every color is checked by it before you leave, never under a ring light.
Services & prices
The menu, by stylist level
Choose a level to see its prices. Longer or thicker hair may take more time and product; your stylist will tell you before they start, never after.

Questions
Asked at the front desk
How do I choose a stylist level?
Every level is fully trained and cuts every kind of hair. Senior and Director stylists have more years and longer waits; if you're after a big change or tricky color, they're a good choice. For a regular trim or blowout, a Stylist is lovely and kinder on the budget.
I have curly hair. How should I arrive?
Hair down, dry, in its natural state and without heavy product, ideally a day after washing. We cut curls dry so we can see where each one sits, then wash and style.
Can you match a color from a photo?
Usually, though filters and lighting do a lot of the work in photos. We'll look at it with you by the window and be honest about what your hair can reach in one visit.
Do you sell gift cards?
Yes, in any amount, at the front desk or by phone. They never expire and work for any service or product.
Is the studio accessible?
There's a lift from the street door, a step-free studio and an accessible restroom. Our wash basins tilt, and we're happy to cut at a chair you bring.
