Website design for landscapers

# Landscaping websites that show your work, season by season

Homeowners hire a landscaper on the strength of past work, so a landscaping website has to prove its quality, make it obvious which towns and services you cover, and turn browsing into a booked estimate or design consultation. Tell us about your business in a five-minute brief and we'll send a free first draft in 5 to 7 business days; the fixed launch fee, from $499, is paid only when you're happy.

[Start your site](https://ciderwebsites.com/start?plan=launch_pro) [See pricing](https://ciderwebsites.com/pricing)

- Free first draft
- Fixed price from $499
- Pay only at launch

We usually recommend the [Pro launch](https://ciderwebsites.com/pricing#launch): up to 15 pages, $999 once.

## What a landscaping business website needs

Your best yards by season, the towns you serve, and estimate requests that arrive with the details you need.

- **A portfolio by project and season** Finished work grouped by type (planting, patios and walls, lawns, full redesigns), with before-and-after pairs and, where you have the photos, the same garden in spring, summer and fall. Homeowners hire the crew whose past work looks like what they want.
- **The service area, written and mapped** A map and a written list of the towns and neighborhoods you work in, on the home and contact pages. People outside your range don't waste a call, and people inside it know you'll come.
- **A page for each service** Design, installation, hardscaping, irrigation, lawn care, seasonal cleanups and snow removal each get their own page: what's included, who it suits and how to get started. Separate pages also give search engines a clear match for each thing people look up.
- **Maintenance plans set out plainly** Weekly mowing, seasonal programs and full-property care, each with what's included, how often you visit and when the season runs. Recurring work is often a landscaper's steadiest income, so it deserves a page of its own.
- **An estimate request that sorts the jobs** A short form that asks for the town, the kind of work, the rough size, the timing and a budget range, so you can tell a design client from a one-off cleanup before you call back.
- **A site that changes with the seasons** The home page leads with what's timely: spring cleanups, summer irrigation checks, fall leaf removal, winter snow contracts. On the care plan, swapping the seasonal banner and the order of services fits within the 4 small edits a month.
- **Credentials near the request button** The licenses, insurance, certifications and association memberships you hold, as you supply them, plus a link to your reviews, placed where people decide whether to ask for a quote.

## Sample sites we've designed

Sites we designed and built for made-up businesses, to show what we do: open one on your phone and try it. On your site, booking, ordering and shop buttons open the tools you already use.

## The pages a landscaping business site usually has

- Home
- Services (design, installation, hardscaping, lawn care)
- Portfolio by project and season
- Maintenance plans
- Service area
- About the crew
- Request an estimate or consultation

### Which plan fits

Landscapers who want a page for each service, from design and hardscaping to mowing and snow removal, plus pages for the main towns they cover, usually need more room than a small site gives. That's the **Pro launch**: up to 15 pages for $999, paid once when you launch.

### What we connect

Quotes, scheduling and invoices stay in the software you already run the business on (Jobber, Housecall Pro, LMN or similar); the site links to it, and to your client payment links, your financing partner and your review profiles. Requests from the site's form come straight to you, and unlike lead-generation platforms that charge per lead, we take no commission on the work they bring.

## Common mistakes, and how we avoid them

- **Stock photos of someone else's garden** Homeowners can usually tell, and it undercuts the one thing a landscaping site has to prove. Your own photos, even from a phone on an overcast day, beat a perfect stock lawn.
- **No service area anywhere** Leave out where you work and you get calls from too far away, and silence from the neighborhoods you'd most like to work in.
- **Every service on one page** A single list reading "design, installs, lawns, snow" tells a homeowner little and a search engine less. Each main service needs its own page to be found and understood.
- **A form that asks nothing** Name, email and message lead to a long back-and-forth before you know whether it's a quick cleanup or a full backyard rebuild. A few targeted questions save both sides time.

## How it works

Three steps, and most of the work is ours.

1. 5 minutes **Tell us about your business** The short form, or a chat with the team. Send photos, your logo, your menu: whatever you have.
2. 5 to 7 business days **Get your free first draft** Screenshots for computer and phone and a private preview link (2 to 3 business days with priority, overnight with rush). Ask for changes in plain words until it's right.
3. When you're ready **Approve, pay and launch** Pay the fixed launch fee only when you're happy. With the care plan, we put the site live on your domain and look after it; without it, we hand you the files to host yourself.

## Questions landscaping business owners ask

**How much does a landscaping website cost?**

Most landscapers choose the Pro launch: $999 once for up to 15 pages, room for a page per service and per main town, paid only if you decide to launch after the free first draft. Hosting isn't in that fee; it comes with the optional care plan at $49 a month, along with your domain and the seasonal banner swaps. A small crew with a few services fits the Website launch ($499). Our [pricing page](https://ciderwebsites.com/pricing) lists them all, and our guide covers [what a small business website costs](https://ciderwebsites.com/guides/small-business-website-cost) elsewhere.

**Should my landscaping website list the towns I serve?**

Yes. A written list of towns on the home and contact pages tells visitors at a glance whether you'll come, and search engines read town names in text more reliably than a map image. If you want to be found by town, we can add a short page for each main area.

**What should a landscaping website include?**

Your best work by project type, the services you offer, the area you cover, how to get an estimate, and your license and insurance details where they apply. Our guide covers [what every small business site should include](https://ciderwebsites.com/guides/what-should-a-small-business-website-include).

**Can customers request an estimate or book a consultation online?**

Yes: through a short request form on your site, a button to the scheduling tool you already use such as Jobber, or both. The request reaches you directly, and we take no cut of the work it leads to.

**I don't have good photos of my work yet. Is that a problem?**

No. We lay out the portfolio so phone photos look their best, start with your strongest few, and make adding new projects through the season a quick edit. A tip: photograph the same view before, right after and a season later.

**How do I get my landscaping business on Google Maps?**

Claim and complete your Google Business Profile, keep your name, address and phone identical to your website's, add photos and reply to reviews. We set up the site to match, the Google Business Profile add-on keeps the listing current, and [this guide](https://ciderwebsites.com/guides/how-to-get-your-business-on-google) explains the rest.
