Website design for salons and spas

# Salon and spa websites that make booking the easy part

Salon and spa websites work when every service shows its price and time, the people who do the work are introduced, and a new client can book the right person in a couple of taps. We turn your service list and your team's best work into the site, link every book button to the right calendar, and send a free first draft in 5 to 7 business days; the fixed launch fee, from $499, waits until you're ready to go live.

- Free first draft
- Fixed price from $499
- Pay only at launch

We usually recommend the [Website launch](https://ciderwebsites.com/pricing#launch): up to 5 pages, $499 once.

## What a salon or spa website needs

A service menu with prices, a book button for every stylist, and policies nobody has to ask about.

- **A service menu with prices and times** Every service with a starting price, how long it takes and what's included, grouped the way clients think: cuts, color, treatments, nails, massage, packages. Where the price depends on hair length or the stylist's level, "from" prices with a line on what changes them answer the question honestly.
- **A book button for each stylist** Many clients book a person, not a salon. Each profile links straight to that stylist's calendar in your booking tool, and each service links to its own booking page, so nobody scrolls through the whole team's week to find a slot.
- **Profiles that help people choose** A photo, specialties, level or price tier and a few pieces of recent work for every stylist, barber, nail tech or therapist. New clients pick the person whose style looks like theirs, and your team gets a page they're glad to share.
- **Policies written once, linked everywhere** Cancellation and no-show rules, deposits, late arrivals, patch tests for color, children's cuts and what to expect at a first visit. They sit on one clear page, linked from every booking button, so nobody meets them for the first time at the deposit screen.
- **A portfolio that stays fresh** Cuts, color, nails and brows grouped by service, with your Instagram linked for the newest work. Photos are cropped and compressed so the gallery loads fast on a phone, and adding new ones is a small edit.
- **Spa menus that describe the experience** For spas: each treatment with its length, its price and what happens during it, plus packages, couples' options, arrival times and what to bring. We describe the experience and leave claims about results off the page.
- **Found when people search nearby** Your name, address and phone written the same everywhere, services named the way people search for them (balayage, skin fade, gel manicure, deep tissue massage), and opening hours as text search engines can read.

## Sample sites we've designed

Sites we designed and built for made-up businesses, to show what we do: open one on your phone and try it. On your site, booking, ordering and shop buttons open the tools you already use.

## The pages a salon or spa site usually has

- Home
- Services and prices (hair, color, nails, spa)
- The team, with profiles and recent work
- Policies, first visits and gift cards
- Contact, opening hours and map

### Which plan fits

Most salons and small spas need only a handful of pages: home, services and prices, the team with their work, policies and gift cards, and contact. That's the **Website launch**: up to 5 pages for $499, paid once when you launch.

### What we connect

Appointments, deposits and client records stay in your booking software (Vagaro, Fresha, Square Appointments, Boulevard or similar); the site's buttons open it, and your gift card and retail links, your Instagram and your review profiles are linked alongside. We take no commission on bookings, and if you switch providers we change the links.

## Common mistakes, and how we avoid them

- **"Call for prices"** Price-shoppers rarely call; they book the salon down the street that lists its prices. A starting price and a line on what changes it answers the question without locking you in.
- **One booking link for everything** Dropping every visitor on the front page of a booking tool, with forty services and the whole team to sort through, loses people. Link each service and each stylist to the right place.
- **Instagram instead of a website** Social posts are good proof of your work, but they don't list services, hours or policies, and search engines read them poorly. Link your feed from the site; don't let it stand in for one.
- **Surprise policies** Learning about a deposit or a late-cancellation fee at the last step of booking feels like a trick and leads to awkward conversations at the desk. Say it plainly before anyone books.

## How it works

Three steps, and most of the work is ours.

1. 5 minutes **Tell us about your business** The short form, or a chat with the team. Send photos, your logo, your menu: whatever you have.
2. 5 to 7 business days **Get your free first draft** Screenshots for computer and phone and a private preview link (2 to 3 business days with priority, overnight with rush). Ask for changes in plain words until it's right.
3. When you're ready **Approve, pay and launch** Pay the fixed launch fee only when you're happy. With the care plan, we put the site live on your domain and look after it; without it, we hand you the files to host yourself.

## Questions salon or spa owners ask

**How much does a salon website cost?**

Most salons and small spas choose the Website launch: $499 once for up to 5 pages, paid only after you've seen the design with your own service menu in it and approved it. Hosting and your domain aren't included in that fee; they're part of the optional care plan, $49 a month. Salons with several locations, a large team or a full spa menu often choose the Pro launch. The [full price list](https://ciderwebsites.com/pricing) has the rest, and [this guide](https://ciderwebsites.com/guides/how-many-pages-does-a-website-need) helps you count your pages.

**Can clients book appointments from my salon website?**

Yes, through the booking software you already use. Every service and stylist gets a button that opens the right calendar, so appointments, deposits and reminders keep working the way they do now.

**Can each stylist have their own page and booking link?**

Yes. Each stylist, barber or therapist can have a profile with their photo, specialties and recent work, and a button to their own calendar. When someone joins or leaves, updating the team page is a small edit, and the care plan includes 4 of those a month.

**Should I put my prices on my salon website?**

Usually, yes: a starting price answers the first question most new clients have and saves your front desk time on the phone. Where the final price depends on length, time or the stylist's level, we show "from" prices and explain what changes them.

**How do I get my salon to show up in "near me" searches?**

Keep your name, address and phone identical everywhere, name your services the way people search for them, and keep your Google Business Profile current with photos and replies to reviews. Every site we build handles the first two; [SEO & AEO care](https://ciderwebsites.com/services#search) and Google Business Profile upkeep can take care of the rest each month.

**Can you turn my price list into a spa menu?**

Yes. Send what you have, whether that's a price list, a photo of the printed menu or the service list from your booking tool, and we lay it out as a proper menu page with lengths and prices. If you'd like the descriptions written for you, just say so. We write the words for every page, on every launch.
