Restaurant & wine bar Ashford Hollow
Seasonal plates cooked over oak embers, a cellar that leans toward the Willamette, and a table that stays yours all evening.
A note from the kitchen
Chanterelles, brown butter, verjus, soft egg
The first chanterelles came down from the ridge this morning, still cold from the night. They’re going over the oak with brown butter and a spoon of last year’s verjus, next to a soft egg. The Vireo Hill pinot is open by the glass, and I think it was made for them.
Come hungry. Stay late. The candles last longer than you’d think.
From the market
Chanterelles, delicata squash, Asian pears and the last of the dry-farmed tomatoes.
By the glass
Vireo Hill pinot noir, 2021. Eola-Amity Hills: wild strawberry and forest floor.
At the bar
Eight seats kept for walk-ins every night. Oysters and a vermouth while you wait.
For nine to sixty guests
Two rooms for the evenings that matter: the birthday, the rehearsal dinner, the team that finally shipped. Our events host plans the night with you, from the first pour to the last candle.
Downstairs
Down six stone steps, under the brick vault and among the bottles. One long oak table, candlelight, and a door that closes.
Off the garden
Glassed in along the garden wall, under the old vine on the pergola. Three round tables or one long one; warm in winter, open to the evening in summer.
Every table, the bar and both rooms, on Wednesday and Sunday evenings: up to 60 seated or 90 standing.
Reservations
Two taps for a night and a time, then a name for the table. We hold every booking for fifteen minutes, and keep eight seats at the bar for walk-ins.
