The product

Every product question, answered in one place.

Pulse records what people do, shows where they stall and tells you who comes back. No SQL, no waiting on a data team, no dashboards nobody trusts.

01Event tracking

Capture every click, without a tracking plan.

Autocapture records page views, clicks and form submits the moment the snippet loads. Name the moments that matter later, and Pulse backfills them across your whole history.

  • Autocapture for clicks, views and forms from day one
  • Typed events so nobody misspells an event name again
  • One person, every device with identity merge after sign-in
See how events are sent

02Funnels

See the exact step where signups stall.

Pick any steps in any order and Pulse draws the funnel in under a second. Click a drop-off to see who left, what they did instead, and how they differ from the people who stayed.

  • Drop-off explained with the traits that set leavers apart
  • Time to convert for every step, not just the whole funnel
  • Compare releases side by side, before and after you ship
Funnels are free on every plan

03Retention cohorts

Watch every cohort come back, week after week.

Group people by the week they signed up, the plan they chose or the feature they tried first. Cohorts now update live, so Monday’s release shows up in Tuesday’s numbers.

  • Live cohorts refreshed as events arrive
  • Power-user signals that point at the habit worth building
  • Alerts when a new cohort retains worse than the last

How it works

Live in an afternoon. Useful by Friday.

Three steps from an empty project to the first answer your team can act on.

  1. 1

    Drop in the snippet

    Add the SDK to your app. Autocapture starts on the next page load, so real traffic shows up in minutes.

    app.ts
    import { pulse } from "./lib/pulse";

    pulse.init({
      key: "pk_demo_7f3a2c",
      autocapture: true,
    });
  2. 2

    Name what matters

    Track the moments your business runs on, with properties you can slice by later. Types keep every name consistent.

    billing.ts
    pulse.track("Plan Upgraded", {
      plan: "team",
      seats: 12,
      billing: "yearly",
    });
  3. 3

    Ask, then share

    Type a question in the query bar and get a chart back. Share the link and the whole team sees the same answer.

    query bar 0.18 s
    funnel visit → invite → upgrade
    window  last 30 days

    12,480 → 3,912 → 2,046

Most teams send their first event in under ten minutes: add the snippet, call pulse.track(), and open the live stream. Autocapture starts collecting clicks and page views right away, so your first funnel can be built the same afternoon.

No. Start with autocapture and name events as questions come up. When you are ready, Pulse suggests a plan from the events you already send, and the typed SDK keeps names consistent from then on.

A seat is anyone who creates or edits reports. Viewers who read dashboards and get alerts are free and unlimited on every plan, so the whole company can see the numbers without adding to the bill.

Yes. Import past events from a CSV file or a warehouse table and Pulse backfills your funnels and cohorts. On Scale, Pulse also syncs both ways with your warehouse every hour.

Data is encrypted in transit and at rest, you choose where it is stored, and one API call deletes everything about a person. IP addresses are dropped by default, and your data is never sold or shared.

Nothing breaks. We keep collecting, send a note at 80% and 100%, and you can upgrade or trim noisy events. There are never surprise overage charges on the Free plan.
