Cosmetic dentistry · Halden Square

The quiet art of a natural smile.

Whitening, bonding and porcelain veneers, made with restraint in a private suite on Halden Square. We'll tell you what we'd do, what we wouldn't, and what it costs, before anything begins.

Our approach

The best cosmetic dentistry is rarely noticed. People see that you look rested, or happy, or simply like yourself. So we work in small, careful steps, we will sometimes suggest doing less, and we never promise a result we can't show you first.

ITreatments

Three treatments, explained plainly.

Each one is a different tool. This is what they are, how they go, and what's worth knowing before you choose.

Whitening

A gentle gel lifts stains from within the enamel. Done well, it simply makes your own teeth look a little brighter and more even.

How it goes
A short check first, then either one 90-minute session in the suite, or custom trays to wear at home over about two weeks. Many people do both.
Worth knowing
Results differ from person to person. Whitening doesn't change crowns, fillings or bonding, and some people notice brief sensitivity, so we start slowly.

IIThe consultation

Forty-five minutes, at your pace.

  1. Arrive

Tea in the lounge, then up to a private suite. A linen blanket if you'd like one, headphones if you'd rather not hear a thing.

  2. Talk

What you'd like to change, and just as importantly, what you love and want to keep. Dr. Elise listens before she looks.

  3. Look

A gentle examination, a few photographs and, where it helps, a digital preview. A preview is a guide to talk around, not a promise.

  4. Decide, later

Within three days, a written plan with every option and its fee. No deposit to leave, and no follow-up calls unless you ask.

$95 for the consultation, credited in full to any treatment you choose.

IIIThe studio

Two suites, one patient at a time.

A converted townhouse on the quiet side of Halden Square, with a lounge on the ground floor and two treatment suites above. We book generously, so nobody waits and nobody is rushed.

  • Noise-canceling headphones and your own playlist
  • A weighted linen blanket, warmed
  • Herbal tea, still or sparkling water
  • Early, late and Saturday appointments
  • A step-free entrance and an elevator
  • A quiet room to collect yourself afterwards

VJournal

Notes from the studio.

Short, honest answers to the questions we hear most. Open one to read it.

Note 01 · 2 min read Whitening, honestly What it can do, what it can't, and why we start slowly.

Whitening works on natural enamel, so anything that isn't natural enamel (a crown, a filling, bonding) stays the shade it is. That's why we usually whiten first and match any bonding afterwards.

How much brighter teeth become varies from person to person, which is why we take a shade photo at the start and talk through what's realistic for you. If your teeth feel sensitive, we slow down or pause.

Note 02 · 3 min read Bonding or veneers? Two ways to change a shape, and how we help people choose.

Bonding is added to the tooth, usually without removing any, and can be adjusted or taken away later. Veneers are made in a lab from porcelain and usually involve removing a thin layer of enamel, which makes them a permanent choice.

Many people start with bonding on one or two teeth. If you're considering veneers, we'll make a trial smile you can wear first, so you're deciding with your own eyes rather than ours.

Note 03 · 2 min read Looking after your work Small habits that keep bonding and veneers at their best.

Brush gently with a non-abrasive paste, floss as you normally would, and come in for regular hygiene visits, where Inès polishes bonding as part of the clean.

If you grind your teeth at night, a fitted night guard protects porcelain and composite alike. And if something chips, call: most small repairs take a single short visit.

And a few practical questions

Do I need to see my own dentist first?
No. You can book with us directly. If you have a regular dentist, we're happy to work alongside them.
Can I bring someone with me?
Of course. The suites have room for a second chair, and the lounge is theirs while you're upstairs.
What if I change my mind after the consultation?
Then you've had a calm hour and a plan to keep. There's nothing to cancel and no one will chase you.
Do you offer general dentistry?
Hygiene visits, yes. For fillings and other general care we refer to trusted colleagues nearby.
