Website design for pediatric dentists

Pediatric dental website design that parents trust and kids enjoy

A pediatric dental website talks to two people at once: a parent deciding whether to trust you with their child, and a child who'd rather stay home. We answer the parent plainly, from the first visit to the plans you take, in a voice that keeps the child curious. A single office fits the Website launch: $499, payable when you approve the first draft, which is free.

  • Free first draft
  • Fixed price from $499
  • Pay only at launch

We usually recommend the Website launch: up to 5 pages, $499 once.

What a pediatric dental practice website needs

A first-visit guide parents read in a minute, the plans you take including Medicaid, and a friendly voice kids aren't scared of.

  • A first-visit guide written for parents

When to book a first visit (the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry recommends one by a child's first birthday), what happens in the chair, how long it takes, whether a parent stays in the room, and what to bring. One page answers the questions your front desk hears every morning.

  • A voice that's friendly, not babyish

Short sentences, warm words, and drawings or photos of the rooms a child will recognize when they walk in, with the facts for grown-ups kept plain underneath. We write in your practice's voice, and teenagers get pages that don't talk down to them.

  • Insurance and Medicaid, by name

The dental plans you're in network with, whether you accept Medicaid or your state's CHIP plan and are taking new patients on it, and what families without coverage can expect to pay, exactly as you give them to us. Many parents decide on this before anything else.

  • Accommodations for children with special needs

Quiet rooms, longer or first-of-the-day appointments, a visit to meet the team before any treatment, the sedation options you offer and step-free access, described in your own words. The site invites parents to call and plan ahead; it never asks them to describe their child's diagnosis.

  • Booking a parent can do one-handed

A Book a visit button on every page and a bar on the phone's screen, opening your own online scheduler with a new-patient visit chosen where it allows. Your new-patient forms open from the same place, in your own system.

  • Dental emergencies, for a frightened parent

What to do in the first minutes after a knocked-out or broken tooth, in your own instructions, with your after-hours number and whether you keep same-day slots, on a page a worried parent reaches in seconds from a search.

The pages a pediatric dental practice site usually has

  • Home
  • Your child's first visit (and accommodations for special needs)
  • Treatments and parents' questions
  • Insurance, Medicaid and payment
  • Meet the team, hours and directions

Which plan fits

A single-office pediatric practice tells parents everything on a handful of pages: the first visit, your treatments and their questions, insurance, and the team with your hours. That's the Website launch: up to 5 pages for $499, paid once when you launch.

What we link

Appointments, new-patient forms and reminders stay with the scheduler and forms your practice already runs, and the site's buttons open them. Anything about a child's health is asked in your own system or in the chair, never on the website, and if you change providers we change the link.

  • NexHealth
  • LocalMed
  • Weave
  • Zocdoc
  • Google Business Profile

What to get right

  • Calling a family practice "pediatric"

Pediatric dentistry is a recognized specialty: under the ADA's ethics code and many state boards' rules, only dentists with that specialty training announce themselves as pediatric dentists. A general practice that loves seeing children says exactly that. We use the titles you give us, doctor by doctor.

  • Children's photos without a parent's written permission

Every photo of a child on the site, grinning in the chair or picking from the prize box, needs a parent's or guardian's written permission first. We use only the photos you confirm you have it for, or drawings and photos of the empty rooms instead.

  • Leaving out the plans you take

"Call to check your coverage" loses the parent comparing three practices on a phone after bedtime. If you take Medicaid or CHIP, say so plainly and by plan name; if you don't, say what families can do instead.

  • Promising painless, tear-free visits

"Pain-free" and "no tears" are promises no dentist can keep for every child. We describe what you do to keep visits calm, from tell-show-do (if that's how you work) to the sedation options you offer, and leave the outcome unpromised.

How it works

Three steps, and most of the work is ours.

  1. 5 minutes

    Tell us about your business

The short form, or a chat with the team. Send photos, your logo, your menu: whatever you have.

  2. 5 to 7 business days

    Get your free first draft

Screenshots for computer and phone and a private preview link (2 to 3 business days with priority, overnight with rush). Ask for changes in plain words until it's right.

  3. When you're ready

    Approve, pay and launch

Pay the fixed launch fee only when you're happy. With the care plan, we put the site live on your domain and look after it; without it, we hand you the files to host yourself.

Questions about pediatric dental practice websites

How much does a pediatric dental website cost?

Most single-office pediatric practices choose the Website launch: $499 once for up to 5 pages, paid only after you've approved a free first draft with your own first-visit guide on it. Practices with several offices, or a page for every treatment, fit the Pro launch, up to 15 pages. Hosting, your domain and 4 small edits a month are the optional care plan, $49 a month. See every price.

Can parents book their child's first visit online?

Yes, through the scheduler you already use: we link NexHealth, LocalMed, Zocdoc or your practice software's booking page from every page, with a new-patient visit chosen where it allows. The website itself collects nothing about the child.

Can the site say we accept Medicaid?

Yes, and it should if you do: we name the program and plans the way your state does, list your other in-network plans, and say whether you're taking new Medicaid patients right now. When that changes, updating it is one of the care plan's small edits.

How do we describe care for children with special needs?

In your words, from a short call: what you adjust, such as quiet rooms, extra time, a visit to meet the team first or the sedation options you offer, and who parents can call to plan ahead. We leave out any form that asks parents about a diagnosis; that conversation belongs on the phone or in your own forms.

Will the site appeal to kids as well as parents?

That's the aim. We write the words for every page, on every launch. For a pediatric practice that means two voices on one page: playful headlines and drawings for children, plain facts for parents underneath. You approve every word and every picture before launch.

Will parents find us when they search for a kids' dentist nearby?

A clear first-visit page, your treatments in parents' words, your town and hours in text, and a fast site on a phone all help, though nobody can promise a position in search results. For monthly work on it, add SEO & AEO care to the care plan.
