Website design for orthodontists

Orthodontist website design that fills the consultation book

An orthodontist's website has to answer three things plainly before a parent, or an adult, books a consultation: braces or aligners, how long treatment usually takes with you, and what it costs each month. We build it around your treatments and your consultation. Most practices choose the Pro launch, with room for braces, aligners and early treatment: one $999 fee, paid only once you're happy with a free first draft.

  • Free first draft
  • Fixed price from $499
  • Pay only at launch

We usually recommend the Pro launch: up to 15 pages, $999 once.

What an orthodontist website needs

Braces and aligners compared plainly, payment plans in the numbers you choose, and the free consultation one tap from every page.

  • Braces and aligners, compared plainly

Metal braces, clear ceramic braces and clear aligners side by side: how each one works, what wearing it is like day to day, and what it asks of the patient, from the hours a day aligners have to stay in to the foods braces rule out. Written so a parent and a teenager can read it together, and naming only the aligner brands you actually offer.

  • The free consultation, one tap away

If you offer a free first consultation, it's the button on every page and the bar on the phone's screen, opening your own scheduler. Its page says what happens at it: the exam, the photos and scans you take, how long it lasts, and whether a parent should come along.

  • Treatment times in your words

Treatment length depends on the patient, so the site gives the typical ranges you give us and says plainly that the orthodontist sets the plan at the consultation. A step-by-step outline, from the first visit to retainers, sets expectations without promising a date.

  • Payment plans people can follow

The down payment, the monthly figure, how orthodontic insurance benefits usually work (many plans set a lifetime maximum), paying with an HSA or FSA, and your financing partner, in the numbers and terms you choose to publish. Families often ask about the monthly figure first, so it's easy to find.

  • Children and adults, each with a page

A page on a child's first orthodontic check (the American Association of Orthodontists suggests one by age 7) and another for adults, who search differently and worry about different things: how visible the treatment is, and how it fits around work and photos.

  • Every office, and the days it's open

Many orthodontists see patients at more than one office on set days. Each office gets its address, parking, hours and days in text search engines can read, so nobody drives to the wrong one.

The pages an orthodontist site usually has

  • Home
  • Braces (metal and clear)
  • Clear aligners
  • Early treatment for children
  • Treatment for adults
  • Your free consultation
  • Payment plans and insurance
  • Smile gallery (with written patient consent)
  • Meet the orthodontist and team
  • Offices and hours

Which plan fits

An orthodontic practice usually needs a page each for braces, clear aligners, early treatment and adult treatment, plus the consultation, payment plans and every office it runs. That's the Pro launch: up to 15 pages for $999, paid once when you launch.

What we link

Consultation booking, new-patient forms and payment plans stay in the systems your practice already runs, and the site's buttons open them: your scheduler or practice software's booking page, your payment-plan or financing provider, and your reviews. The website itself never asks about a patient's teeth or health, and if you change providers we change the link.

  • Cloud 9
  • OrthoFi
  • CareCredit
  • Google Business Profile

What to get right

  • Titles stated loosely

Under the ADA's ethics code and many state boards' rules, only dentists who've completed specialty training announce themselves as orthodontists, and "board certified" belongs only beside a doctor who holds it. We print each doctor's title and credentials exactly as you give them to us.

  • Smile photos without written consent

Before-and-after photos are patients' images, and many of your patients are children. Each one needs the patient's written authorization, or a parent's or guardian's for a minor, before it goes on the site; we add only the photos you confirm you have permission to use.

  • Promising a finish date

"Straight teeth by summer" sets a deadline the orthodontist doesn't control and every patient remembers. We write the ranges you give us, say that the consultation sets the plan, and leave out results nobody can promise.

  • "Call for pricing"

A family comparing two practices on a phone at night won't call to ask. A typical range, the monthly figure you're comfortable publishing and what the consultation includes answer it before they move on.

How it works

Three steps, and most of the work is ours.

  1. 5 minutes

    Tell us about your business

The short form, or a chat with the team. Send photos, your logo, your menu: whatever you have.

  2. 5 to 7 business days

    Get your free first draft

Screenshots for computer and phone and a private preview link (2 to 3 business days with priority, overnight with rush). Ask for changes in plain words until it's right.

  3. When you're ready

    Approve, pay and launch

Pay the fixed launch fee only when you're happy. With the care plan, we put the site live on your domain and look after it; without it, we hand you the files to host yourself.

Questions about orthodontist websites

How much does an orthodontist website cost?

Most orthodontic practices choose the Pro launch: $999 once for up to 15 pages, room for braces, aligners, early treatment, payment plans and each office, paid only after you've approved a free first draft. A single office with a short list of treatments can start at $499. Hosting, your domain and 4 small edits a month are the optional care plan, $49 a month; without it, the finished site is yours to host. See every price.

Can patients book a free consultation online?

Yes, through the scheduling you already use: a Book your consultation button on every page opens your scheduler, whether that's your practice software's booking page or a tool such as NexHealth, so consultations land in your calendar as they do today. The website asks nothing about the patient's teeth.

Should we compare braces and aligners on the site?

Yes: it's the question many people arrive with. We compare them by what matters to the patient (how they look, how they feel, what they ask of you each day and what they cost at your practice) and say that the orthodontist recommends one at the consultation.

Can we show before-and-after photos?

Yes, with each patient's written authorization, and a parent's or guardian's for a minor. Send us the photos you have permission to use and we caption each with the treatment used, never a promise that another patient will see the same result. Taking one down later is one of the care plan's small edits.

Who writes the treatment pages?

We write the words for every page, on every launch. We draft each treatment page from a short call and the leaflets you already give patients, then you check every claim, figure and title before anything goes live.

Will families find us when they search for an orthodontist nearby?

A page per treatment and per office, your hours and addresses in text, and fast pages on a phone give search engines plenty to match, but nobody can promise a position in search results. For monthly work on search and answer engines, add SEO & AEO care to the care plan.
