Website design for electricians

Electrician website design that books the job

An electrician's website has to answer three things before someone picks up the phone: do you do this kind of work, do you come to my town, and are you licensed. We design and build it around the jobs you want more of, from panel upgrades to EV chargers. Most electricians choose the Pro launch, $999 once, paid only after you approve a free first draft.

  • Free first draft
  • Fixed price from $499
  • Pay only at launch

We usually recommend the Pro launch: up to 15 pages, $999 once.

What an electrician website needs

Panel upgrades, EV chargers and service calls, your license up front, and a quote form that asks the right questions.

  • A page for each job you want more of

Panel upgrades, EV charger installs, whole-home generators, rewiring, lighting and service calls each get their own section or page, in the words homeowners search with. A page about one job is what shows up when someone searches for it.

  • Your license, insurance and permits, plainly

Your license number in the footer of every page, with the insurance and permit work you actually carry. Many states require a contractor's license number on all advertising, websites included, and homeowners look for it before they call.

  • Tap to call, and an honest emergency line

Your number in the header and on a bar that stays on the phone's screen. If you take emergency calls, say when and what an after-hours visit costs; if you don't, say what to do instead.

  • Quotes that arrive ready to price

A short form that asks the kind of job, the age of the panel or the car's charger type, the address and a photo, so you can quote the simple jobs without a site visit.

  • Where you work

The towns and ZIP codes you cover, listed in text search engines can read, with a quick checker so people outside your area know before they call.

  • Proof without promises

Photos of your own work, the brands you install, and a link to your reviews on Google or Yelp. We never write reviews or invent results for you.

The pages an electrician site usually has

  • Home
  • Services (panels, EV chargers, generators, lighting, rewiring)
  • Emergency and service calls
  • Service area
  • About, licenses and insurance
  • Reviews
  • Contact and quote request

Which plan fits

Electricians who want to be found for each kind of job (panel upgrades, EV chargers, generators, rewiring, service calls) need a page for each, plus the towns they cover. That's the Pro launch: up to 15 pages for $999, paid once when you launch.

What we link

Scheduling, invoicing and financing stay in the tools you already run, and the site's buttons open them. Change providers later and we change the link.

  • Housecall Pro
  • ServiceTitan
  • Google Business Profile
  • Your financing partner

What to get right

  • No license number

Leaving it off can break your state's advertising rules and costs you trust. We put the number you give us on every page, and you approve every page before it goes live.

  • Claims you can't stand behind

"24/7", "licensed, bonded and insured" or "same-day" belong on the site only when they're true for your business. We write what you tell us is true and nothing more.

  • One page for everything

A single list of services can't be found for "EV charger installation" or "panel upgrade". A section or page per job, in plain words, gives each search something to match.

  • A quote form that asks for nothing

Name and phone alone means a call back just to find out what the job is. Four good questions save you that call.

How it works

Three steps, and most of the work is ours.

  1. 5 minutes

    Tell us about your business

The short form, or a chat with the team. Send photos, your logo, your menu: whatever you have.

  2. 5 to 7 business days

    Get your free first draft

Screenshots for computer and phone and a private preview link (2 to 3 business days with priority, overnight with rush). Ask for changes in plain words until it's right.

  3. When you're ready

    Approve, pay and launch

Pay the fixed launch fee only when you're happy. With the care plan, we put the site live on your domain and look after it; without it, we hand you the files to host yourself.

Questions about electrician websites

How much does an electrician website cost?

Most electricians choose the Pro launch: $999 once for up to 15 pages, paid only after you've approved a free first draft. A smaller site starts at $499. Hosting, your domain and 4 small edits a month are the optional care plan, $49 a month. See every price.

Do electricians need a website if they get work by word of mouth?

Usually, yes: people who hear your name still look you up before they call, and a site with your license, your services and your reviews link is what they find. It also lets you be found for the jobs you want more of, like EV chargers.

Can my license number go on the website?

Yes, and in many states it has to. We add the license number, insurance details and any wording your state requires that you give us, and you approve every page.

Can customers book a service call online?

Yes, through the scheduling you already use: we link your Jobber, Housecall Pro or ServiceTitan booking page from every page, so jobs land in your schedule as they do today.

Will my site show up when people search for an electrician near them?

A clear page per service, your service area in text and your Google Business Profile all help, but nobody can promise a position in search results. We build the site so search engines can read every one of those things.
