Website design for HVAC companies

HVAC website design for both busy seasons

An HVAC website has to put a family with no heat or no AC through to you in one tap, at the first cold snap or heat wave. We build it for the quiet weeks too: tune-ups and maintenance plans to book, and financing and rebates in your words. The Pro launch gives heating, cooling and each main town a page: $999, due when you approve a free first draft.

  • Free first draft
  • Fixed price from $499
  • Pay only at launch

We usually recommend the Pro launch: up to 15 pages, $999 once.

What an HVAC company website needs

No-heat and no-AC calls in one tap, tune-ups and maintenance plans to book, financing and rebates in your words, and the brands you service.

  • An emergency line for no heat and no AC

Your number on every screen, and a short "is it urgent?" check covering no heat with a baby or an older person at home, no cooling in a heat wave, and, for anyone who smells gas, your gas utility's instructions (leave first, call from outside). Say what an after-hours visit costs, or when you're back if you don't run nights.

  • Messages that change with the season

Furnace repair and heating tune-ups up front in the fall, air conditioning in the spring, and offers to match. We write the seasonal banner so it's quick to swap, and on the care plan switching it is one of your small edits, so a summer AC special never sits on the home page in January.

  • Maintenance plans and tune-ups people can book

What each plan really includes (visits a year, priority scheduling, repair discounts), its monthly and yearly price, and a Join button to the sign-up in your software. Next to it, a Book a tune-up button that opens your booking page, so the quieter weeks between seasons fill with maintenance visits.

  • Financing and rebates, carefully

A replacement is a big bill, so link your financing partner's application and say plainly what terms you offer. Utility rebates, manufacturer promotions and state incentives change often: the page shows only the programs and amounts you give us, each with the date you checked it and a link to the program's own page.

  • The brands you service and the certifications you hold

The equipment you install and repair (furnaces, boilers, heat pumps, ductless mini-splits, rooftop units), the brands you work on, and only the certifications your technicians actually hold, such as NATE or EPA 608. A dealer badge goes on only if you're an authorized dealer.

  • Where your trucks go

Towns, ZIP codes and counties in text, with a ZIP checker and a page per main town if you want one, and a note on any trip charge at the edges. People type their town's name after "AC repair", so the town names need to be on the page in words, not only on a map.

The pages an HVAC company site usually has

  • Home
  • Heating: furnaces, boilers and heat pumps
  • Cooling: air conditioning and ductless
  • Emergency service and hours
  • Maintenance plans and tune-ups
  • Financing and rebates
  • Indoor air quality
  • Service area, with a page per main town
  • About, certifications and brands
  • Reviews
  • Book a visit or get a quote

Which plan fits

Heating and cooling companies need room for furnaces, air conditioning, heat pumps, ductless systems, indoor air quality and the maintenance plan, each on its own page, plus the towns they serve. That's the Pro launch: up to 15 pages for $999, paid once when you launch.

What we link

Booking, dispatch and memberships stay in the field service software you already run, and the site's Book and Join buttons open it. Financing applications and rebate programs open on their providers' own pages, so the terms customers read are always the current ones.

  • Your financing partner

What to get right

  • Last season's offer still up

A furnace special in July or an AC tune-up deal in December tells visitors nobody is minding the site. Plan the spring and fall messages at the start, and swap them the week the weather turns.

  • Rebate figures nobody checked

Programs end and amounts change (the federal tax credits for heat pumps and efficient equipment ended for installs after 2025), and a wrong number on the site turns into an argument at the kitchen table. We publish only the programs and amounts you supply, dated, with a link to where the customer can confirm them.

  • No license number in the footer

Many states license heating and air contractors and expect the license number on their advertising, and a website counts as advertising. We add the number and any required wording you give us to every page you approve.

  • Emergency hours nobody staffs

"24-hour emergency service" only belongs on the site if someone picks up at 2 a.m. in January. We write the hours you really cover and what an after-hours call costs, and leave out what you don't offer.

How it works

Three steps, and most of the work is ours.

  1. 5 minutes

    Tell us about your business

The short form, or a chat with the team. Send photos, your logo, your menu: whatever you have.

  2. 5 to 7 business days

    Get your free first draft

Screenshots for computer and phone and a private preview link (2 to 3 business days with priority, overnight with rush). Ask for changes in plain words until it's right.

  3. When you're ready

    Approve, pay and launch

Pay the fixed launch fee only when you're happy. With the care plan, we put the site live on your domain and look after it; without it, we hand you the files to host yourself.

Questions about HVAC company websites

How much does an HVAC website cost?

Most HVAC companies choose the Pro launch, $999 once for up to 15 pages: room for heating, cooling, the maintenance plan, financing and your main towns. You pay it only after approving a free first draft, and a smaller site starts at $499. We write the words for every page, on every launch. The optional care plan, $49 a month, hosts the site and covers your domain, support and 4 small edits a month, such as the seasonal swap. Every price is here.

Can customers join our maintenance plan from the website?

Yes, through the software that runs your memberships. The plan page lists what's included and the price, and the Join button opens your ServiceTitan, Housecall Pro or Jobber sign-up, so billing stays where it is today. The website itself never takes a payment.

Can we advertise rebates?

Yes, in your words and with your numbers. Tell us the utility rebates, manufacturer promotions and any state incentives you help customers claim, and we write them with the date they were checked and a link to the program's own page. When a program ends, taking it down is a small edit.

Should heating and cooling have separate pages?

Yes. People search for "furnace repair" in November and "AC not cooling" in July, and each of those searches deserves a page about that one problem. Heat pumps, which do both, usually get a page of their own too.

Will my site show up when someone searches for AC repair near me?

Search engines decide that, and no honest agency can promise you a spot. What we can do is give each service its own page, write your towns in text, make every page quick on a phone and match your Google Business Profile; SEO & AEO care on the care plan keeps working on it every month.

Is a website worth it for an HVAC company that's already busy?

In the rush, a site answers what callers would otherwise ask your office: your hours, whether you cover their town, what the plan includes and how financing works. In the quieter months, it's where people comparing companies for a replacement or a tune-up find you.
