Cider for RestaurantsFree first draft, no card needed

Restaurant websites that fill tables

Cider for Restaurants designs websites for restaurants, cafés, bakeries and bars: the menu you actually serve, the hours you actually keep, and a reservation or an order two taps away. Every site is designed from a blank page for your room and your food, never a template. Your first draft is free in 5 to 7 business days, and the fixed launch fee, from $499, comes only when you launch.

Our work

Restaurant sites we've designed

Four restaurant sites, each designed from a blank page, from the most classic to the boldest. Each is a real, working website: open one on your phone and try it.

Made for you

What every restaurant site we build does

  • Menus that read in line

A real page for every menu you serve, never a PDF: dietary tags and allergen notes beside each dish, and the hours each menu runs.

  • Hours that are always right

Today's hours, holiday changes and the address on the first screen and in every page's footer, written so search engines can read them.

  • A table in two taps

One clear Reserve button beside the menu, on private dining and on the phone's sticky bar, opening the booking page you already use.

  • Orders that stay yours

Takeout and delivery buttons that open your own ordering page, so regulars order direct instead of through a marketplace's list of your competitors.

  • Private dining and catering

Room capacities, set menus and lead times, with a short inquiry that asks for the date, the headcount and the budget.

  • Found when people are hungry

Page titles that say what you serve and where, your name, address and phone the same everywhere, and pages that load fast on a phone.

Works with what you use

Linked to the tools you already run

Reservations, ordering and gift cards stay where your team already runs them, and the site's buttons open them. We take no commission on bookings or orders, and if you change providers we change the link.

Three steps

How it works

Most of the work is ours. You tell us about your business, we design it, and you launch when you're happy.

  1. 5 minutes

    Tell us about your business

The short form, or a chat with the team. Send photos, your logo, your menu: whatever you have.

  2. 5 to 7 business days

    Get your free first draft

Screenshots for computer and phone and a private preview link (2 to 3 business days with priority, overnight with rush). Ask for changes in plain words until it's right.

  3. When you're ready

    Approve, pay and launch

Pay the fixed launch fee only when you're happy. With the care plan, we put the site live on your domain and look after it; without it, we hand you the files to host yourself.

More on how it works

The pages a restaurant site usually has

  • Home
  • Menus (dinner, brunch, drinks)
  • Reservations and private dining
  • About and the team
  • Hours and location

Which plan fits

A single-location restaurant says everything that matters on a handful of pages: the menus, reservations and private dining, the story, and when and where to find you. That's the Website launch: up to 5 pages for $499, paid once when you launch.

Bigger, or several locations? Every plan, and a custom quote, is below.

Questions

Questions restaurant owners ask

Not a restaurant? Cider for Restaurants is one part of Cider Websites. See every kind of business we design for.

How much does a restaurant website cost?

Most restaurants choose the Website launch: $499 once for up to 5 pages, paid only after you've seen a free first draft with your own menu on it. Hosting comes with the optional care plan, $49 a month, together with your domain and 4 small edits a month for menu and hours changes. Every price is public.

Can you put our menu online without a PDF?

Yes. We build each menu as a proper page from your PDF, a photo of the printed menu or a list, with the dietary tags and allergen notes you give us. A new dish or a price change later is one of the care plan's small edits.

Can guests book a table or order on the site?

Yes, through the services you already use. We add clear buttons to your reservation and ordering pages, so bookings and orders still arrive where your team expects them, and we take no commission on either.

Will my restaurant show up on Google?

Every site we build has search-ready page titles and descriptions, your hours and address in a form search engines read, and fast pages on a phone. For ongoing search work, add SEO & AEO care to the care plan. Our guide covers getting your business on Google.

We have three locations. Can each have its own page?

Yes. Each location gets its own page with its hours, menu notes and booking link. Up to 15 pages fit the Pro launch; larger groups get a custom quote.
