Website design for acupuncturists

Acupuncture website design that calms first-visit nerves

People booking acupuncture for the first time often bring two worries: will the needles hurt, and can it help with what I have. We write a site that answers the first by walking them through a visit, and the second honestly, in your words and within your license. For a solo practice that's the Website launch, $499, paid when the free first draft is right.

  • Free first draft
  • Fixed price from $499
  • Pay only at launch

We usually recommend the Website launch: up to 5 pages, $499 once.

What an acupuncture clinic website needs

A first visit explained step by step, what you treat in your own words, your L.Ac. and insurance, and a booking link on every page.

  • A first visit people can picture

The conversation about why they've come, the tongue and pulse check, how fine the needles are and how they feel, how long they rest, and what to wear, step by step, so a first-timer arrives calm instead of braced.

  • What you treat, in your words, never as cures

What people come to you for, described as you'd put it in the treatment room and limited to what you're comfortable standing behind. We don't write that acupuncture cures anything, and you approve every word.

  • Your training, spelled out

L.Ac., NCCAOM certification if you hold it, where you trained and what you focus on, and your state license number wherever your board wants it shown.

  • Treatments and prices without a puzzle

First visits and follow-ups, cupping, herbal consultations and community or sliding-scale sessions, each with its price and length, so nobody has to phone to find out what a session costs.

  • Insurance, superbills and HSA cards

Which plans you're in network with, whether you provide superbills for out-of-network claims, and whether HSA and FSA cards work, in a short, honest section people can skim.

  • Booking from every page

A Book button in the header and on phones that opens Jane, Unified Practice or Square Appointments, with intake and consent paperwork sent from that system rather than the website.

The pages an acupuncture clinic site usually has

  • Home
  • Your first visit
  • What we treat, treatments and prices
  • About the practitioner
  • Insurance, booking and contact

Which plan fits

A solo practitioner or a small clinic says everything on a handful of pages: the first visit, treatments and prices, who you are and your license, and how to book. That's the Website launch: up to 5 pages for $499, paid once when you launch.

What we link

Appointments, intake paperwork, packages and payments stay in the practice software you chose, and the site's Book buttons go straight to it. Reminders keep coming from there too; the website only points the way.

  • Jane
  • Unified Practice
  • Square Appointments
  • Google Business Profile

What to get right

  • Long lists of cures

Dozens of conditions with "treats" or "cures" beside each run into the FTC's standard for health claims, which asks for competent and reliable scientific evidence behind every one. We write what people come to you for and how you work, never a promised result.

  • A title the license doesn't support

"Dr." belongs only with a doctorate the practitioner holds, such as a DACM or DAOM, and some states ask that it be qualified so nobody reads it as a medical doctor. Your L.Ac. and license number go where your board expects them.

  • Leaving the needles to the imagination

A site that never shows a treatment room or says how a session feels leaves a nervous first-timer guessing. A calm photo and a plain description of the needles do more than any claim could.

  • Intake questions on the website

Asking about health conditions or medications in a website form puts health details where they don't belong. Intake goes out from Jane or Unified Practice once someone books, and the site's only form takes a name, a phone number and a time.

How it works

Three steps, and most of the work is ours.

  1. 5 minutes

    Tell us about your business

The short form, or a chat with the team. Send photos, your logo, your menu: whatever you have.

  2. 5 to 7 business days

    Get your free first draft

Screenshots for computer and phone and a private preview link (2 to 3 business days with priority, overnight with rush). Ask for changes in plain words until it's right.

  3. When you're ready

    Approve, pay and launch

Pay the fixed launch fee only when you're happy. With the care plan, we put the site live on your domain and look after it; without it, we hand you the files to host yourself.

Questions about acupuncture clinic websites

How much does an acupuncture website cost?

Most acupuncturists choose the Website launch at $499, a one-time fee for up to 5 pages that you pay only once the free first draft is right. Clinics with several practitioners and services often move up to the Pro launch. The optional care plan, $49 a month, includes hosting, your domain, support and 4 small edits a month. Every plan and price.

What can we say acupuncture helps with?

What you see in your own practice, in your words, with nothing promised: that people often come to you for back pain, stress or trouble sleeping, for example. We avoid cure language, and you approve every line, so it stays within your license and your board's advertising rules.

Should our insurance details be on the site?

Yes, briefly: the plans you're in network with, whether you give superbills, and whether HSA or FSA cards work. It saves calls and sets expectations before the first visit, and when a plan changes, updating it is a small edit.

Can patients book online?

Yes. Every Book button opens your Jane, Unified Practice or Square Appointments calendar, and your intake paperwork goes out from there. The website itself never asks anyone about their health.

We offer community acupuncture on a sliding scale. Can the site explain it?

Yes. A short section covers how the shared room works, what the scale is and who it's for, in a tone that makes the lower price feel welcoming rather than second-best. See it on our sample sites.

Who writes the treatment descriptions?

We do. We write the words for every page, on every launch. We draft from a short call about how you practice, keep the language plain rather than mystical or clinical, and you correct anything a patient might misread.
