Website design for massage therapists

Massage therapist website design, calm and easy to book

A massage therapist's website should let someone choose a massage, a length and a time without a phone call, and trust you enough to book. We build yours around your menu, your prices and your policies, with your license number wherever your state wants it. Most therapists need just the Website launch, $499, with nothing due until you've approved a free first draft.

  • Free first draft
  • Fixed price from $499
  • Pay only at launch

We usually recommend the Website launch: up to 5 pages, $499 once.

What a massage practice website needs

Modalities, lengths and prices on one menu, MassageBook or Vagaro booking, gift cards, clear policies and your license number in place.

  • A menu with lengths and prices

Swedish, deep tissue, sports, prenatal, hot stone, lymphatic: each modality with what it feels like and who tends to book it, and its lengths and prices side by side, so choosing between an hour and ninety minutes takes seconds.

  • Booking that opens your calendar

A Book button on every page that opens MassageBook, ClinicSense or Vagaro, at the right service where your system allows it, so appointments, deposits and anything you send before a first session stay where you already manage them.

  • Gift cards people can buy in a minute

A gift card page that opens the gift cards your booking system or Square already sells, with what they cover and when they expire, ready for birthdays and the week before a holiday.

  • Policies stated kindly and clearly

Cancellation and late-arrival terms, what to wear and how draping works, tipping, and who you see (adults only, or prenatal from a certain stage), written so people know what to expect before they book.

  • Your license, where the law wants it

Your license number, and your establishment's if you have one, in the footer of every page, with your address and phone number where your state requires them, as Florida does in every massage ad.

  • You, not a stock photo

Your photo, your training and the techniques you love most, with a few real pictures of the room, so a first-timer knows who'll be working on them and what the space looks like.

Sample sites for made-up businesses, designed to show what we do: open one on your phone and try it. On your site, booking and payment buttons open the tools you already use.

The pages a massage practice site usually has

  • Home
  • Massage menu and prices
  • Book and gift cards
  • Policies and what to expect
  • About and contact

Which plan fits

A solo therapist or a small studio fits everything on a handful of pages: the menu and prices, booking and gift cards, the policies, and who you are. That's the Website launch: up to 5 pages for $499, paid once when you launch.

What we link

Appointments, gift cards, packages and any forms you send before a session stay in the booking system you already pay for, and the site's buttons open it. Move from one system to another and we change the link, not the site.

  • MassageBook
  • ClinicSense
  • Vagaro
  • Square Gift Cards
  • Google Business Profile

What to get right

  • Leaving out the license number

Florida's massage law (§480.0465) requires the license number in every advertisement of massage services, websites included, with the physical address and the phone number given to the state, and other states have their own advertising rules. We put every number you give us on every page.

  • Health claims on the menu

"Detoxifies", "boosts immunity" or "cures headaches" are health claims, and the FTC expects health claims to be backed by competent and reliable scientific evidence. We describe how a massage feels and who it suits, not what it fixes.

  • Prices hidden behind the Book button

Making people open the scheduler just to compare prices adds a step every visitor has to take. Lengths and prices belong on the menu in plain text, in the same order as your booking system lists them.

  • Asking for health details on the website

A website form that asks about injuries, medications or pregnancy is collecting health information it doesn't need. Anything you ask before a first session goes out from ClinicSense, MassageBook or your own forms tool, and the site simply links it.

How it works

Three steps, and most of the work is ours.

  1. 5 minutes

    Tell us about your business

The short form, or a chat with the team. Send photos, your logo, your menu: whatever you have.

  2. 5 to 7 business days

    Get your free first draft

Screenshots for computer and phone and a private preview link (2 to 3 business days with priority, overnight with rush). Ask for changes in plain words until it's right.

  3. When you're ready

    Approve, pay and launch

Pay the fixed launch fee only when you're happy. With the care plan, we put the site live on your domain and look after it; without it, we hand you the files to host yourself.

Questions about massage practice websites

How much does a massage therapist website cost?

Most solo therapists and small studios choose the Website launch: $499 once for up to 5 pages, after you've seen and approved a free first draft. The care plan is optional at $49 a month and covers hosting, your domain, support and 4 small edits a month for new prices or a holiday schedule. All our prices.

Can people book and buy gift cards from the site?

Yes, through your own system: the Book and Gift cards buttons open MassageBook, ClinicSense, Vagaro or Square, so the money and the appointments land where they do today. We take no cut of either.

Do I need my license number on my website?

In Florida, yes: the law asks for it in every massage ad, along with your address and phone number, and other states have advertising rules of their own. We add whatever your license and your state call for, and you approve every page before launch.

Can the site say what massage helps with?

It can describe each massage and who usually books it, like runners for sports massage or expecting parents for prenatal, in your words. It won't promise to cure or treat a condition, and it stays inside what your license covers.

I work from a home studio. Do I have to publish my address?

Where your state requires it, as Florida does, the address goes on the site. Elsewhere you can show your neighborhood and send the full address with the booking confirmation; we follow your state's rules first and your preference after that.

Do you write the massage descriptions?

Yes. We write the words for every page, on every launch. We draft each description from a short call, in the calm, plain voice you use in the room, and you change any word that isn't yours.
