Website design for yoga studios

Yoga studio website design, from timetable to first class

A yoga studio's website has one job: take a nervous beginner from "I should try yoga" to booked into a first class. We put the intro offer up front and your scheduler's timetable and booking one tap from every page. A single studio needs only the Website launch: $499, and the free first draft comes first.

  • Free first draft
  • Fixed price from $499
  • Pay only at launch

We usually recommend the Website launch: up to 5 pages, $499 once.

What a yoga studio website needs

The live timetable, a clear intro offer and every style explained by level, with booking right beside each class.

  • A timetable straight from your scheduler

Where your scheduler offers an embed, its live timetable sits on the site, so a cover teacher or a canceled class shows the moment you change it there; where it doesn't, a clear Timetable button opens the schedule itself. Nobody retypes anything, and nobody arrives for a class that moved.

  • An intro offer people can find

A first-week pass, a new-student price or a free first class, named on the home page and the prices page with one button that buys it in your scheduler. For many newcomers it's the reason they book at all, so it shouldn't wait behind an app.

  • Styles and levels in plain words

What vinyasa, hatha, yin, restorative or hot yoga actually feels like, how warm the room gets, who each class suits and which ones a complete beginner should start with. Beginners usually hold back because they're unsure, not because they aren't interested. If reformers are your main draw, see pilates studio websites.

  • Teachers with faces

A photo of each teacher, the styles they lead, their training and a line in their own voice. Students tend to follow a teacher, and a bio is how a new one chooses which class to try first.

  • Everything about the first visit

What to bring, whether mats and props are provided, what to wear in a heated room, how early to arrive, changing rooms and showers, where to park and which door to use. It makes the first class feel easy before it starts.

  • Passes, memberships and what comes next

Drop-ins, class packs and memberships compared on one page, each linked to buy in your scheduler, with freeze and cancellation terms in your own words. Workshops, teacher trainings and retreats get dates, who they suit and how to sign up, so they don't hide in a newsletter.

The pages a yoga studio site usually has

  • Home with the intro offer
  • Timetable and prices (from your scheduler)
  • Styles and levels
  • Teachers
  • New students: what to expect, location and contact

Which plan fits

A single studio covers the essentials in a handful of pages: home with the intro offer, the timetable and prices, the styles you teach, your teachers, and a page for new students. Teacher trainings and retreats can get pages of their own later. That's the Website launch: up to 5 pages for $499, paid once when you launch.

What we link

Classes, passes and memberships stay in your scheduler; the site embeds its live timetable or links it, along with gift cards, workshop sign-ups and your reviews. Students book and pay where they do today, and none of it passes through us or carries a commission to us.

  • Mindbody
  • Momence
  • Walla
  • Arketa
  • Google Business Profile

What to get right

  • A timetable typed into the website

A schedule copied by hand into a web page drifts within weeks, and a student who turns up for a class that moved may not come back. The site should show or link the scheduler's live timetable, never a copy someone has to remember to fix.

  • Prices hidden behind the booking app

If the only way to see what a class costs is to download an app or make an account, plenty of people stop there. Prices and the intro offer belong on an ordinary page anyone can open, with membership terms stated rather than buried.

  • Only advanced poses in the photos

Handstands and deep backbends look striking, but they tell a beginner the studio isn't for them. Show real classes, mixed levels, props in use and the room itself.

  • Health promises yoga can't keep

Lines like "cures back pain" or "detox your body" are health claims, and the FTC expects evidence behind them. We describe what a class is, how it feels and who it suits, and leave out what it supposedly treats.

How it works

Three steps, and most of the work is ours.

  1. 5 minutes

    Tell us about your business

The short form, or a chat with the team. Send photos, your logo, your menu: whatever you have.

  2. 5 to 7 business days

    Get your free first draft

Screenshots for computer and phone and a private preview link (2 to 3 business days with priority, overnight with rush). Ask for changes in plain words until it's right.

  3. When you're ready

    Approve, pay and launch

Pay the fixed launch fee only when you're happy. With the care plan, we put the site live on your domain and look after it; without it, we hand you the files to host yourself.

Questions about yoga studio websites

How much does a yoga studio website cost?

A single studio usually chooses the Website launch: $499 once for up to 5 pages, paid only when the site is ready to go live and you're happy with it. Hosting isn't in that fee; it comes with the optional care plan, $49 a month, along with your domain and 4 small edits a month. A studio with several locations, teacher trainings and retreats tends to suit the Pro launch. See every price.

Can my website show my Mindbody or Momence schedule?

Yes. Where your scheduler offers an embed, we put its live timetable and booking on the site, so changes you make there appear straight away; where it doesn't, a Timetable button opens it. Either way, students book and pay in the system you already use, and Walla and Arketa work the same way.

Do I need a website if students already book through an app?

Yes, especially for new students. The app serves people who already know you; a website is how someone searching for beginner yoga nearby finds you, understands the styles you teach and books the intro offer without downloading anything first.

What should a yoga studio website include?

At least the live timetable, the intro offer and prices, each style explained by level, teacher bios with photos, what to bring and expect on a first visit, and your address, parking and contact details. Workshops and trainings come next, once the basics are clear.

Can the site promote our teacher training and retreats?

Yes. Each gets a page with the dates, the hours, who it suits, what's included and how to apply, and sign-ups and deposits run in your scheduler or event tool, which the page links. A growing program of trainings usually fits the Pro launch.

Can you update the site when we add teachers or workshops?

Yes. Tell us who's joining or what's coming up and we'll add it: the care plan includes 4 small edits a month, and where your scheduler offers an embed, the timetable keeps itself current, so for most studios that's plenty.
