Website design for nail salons

Nail salon website design that shows off every set

A nail salon's website has to do your front desk's job: say what each service costs and how long it takes, show the sets your techs are proud of, and get each client into the right chair. We design it from a blank page around your menu and your work. Most salons need no more than the Website launch: $499, after you've approved a free first draft.

  • Free first draft
  • Fixed price from $499
  • Pay only at launch

We usually recommend the Website launch: up to 5 pages, $499 once.

What a nail salon website needs

Every service with its price and time, a gallery of your own sets, your hygiene practices in your words, and gift cards a tap away.

  • A menu with prices and times

Manicures, pedicures, gel, dip powder, acrylic full sets and fills, removals and nail art, each with its price and how long it takes, and add-ons beside the services they go with. Times matter as much as prices: a client fitting a set into a lunch break needs both.

  • A nail art gallery of your own work

This season's sets and your techs' best designs, grouped by style, from your own photos, credited to the tech who did them, with your Instagram linked for the newest. A photo of a client's hands goes up only with that client's OK.

  • Booking that opens the right service

A Book button beside each service and each tech, opening your Vagaro, Fresha or other booking page with that service chosen where your system allows. If you take walk-ins, the site says when they're easiest.

  • Clean, in your own words

How you clean and sterilize tools, which files and buffers are single-use, how pedicure tubs are cleaned between clients, and the state license you hold, written as you describe your own practices. Clients ask, and a specific answer reassures them.

  • Gift cards a tap away

A gift card button on every page, opening your booking system's gift card page, with a line ahead of the holidays and Mother's Day when you want one.

  • Policies, before the deposit

Deposits, lateness, cancellation and fix policies, and whether children can come along, on one page every Book button links to, so nobody meets them for the first time at the front desk.

  • Home
  • Menu and prices
  • Nail art gallery
  • Hygiene, policies and first visits
  • Gift cards, booking and hours

Which plan fits

Most nail salons fit everything on a handful of pages: the menu, the gallery, how you keep things clean, and booking, gift cards and hours. That's the Website launch: up to 5 pages for $499, paid once when you launch.

What we link

Bookings, deposits, gift cards and reminders stay in the booking system your salon already runs, and the site's buttons open it. We take no commission on bookings or gift cards, and if you switch systems we change the links.

  • GlossGenius

What to get right

  • Treatment claims that sound medical

Claims like "cures nail fungus" or "heals damaged nails" make a cosmetic service sound like a medical treatment. The FTC expects proof behind health claims, and a product sold with them is regulated as a drug. We describe what a service does for how nails look and feel, and leave health claims off the page.

  • Prices without times

A price list without durations leaves a client guessing whether a full set fits before school pickup. Each service shows both, so clients book the right slot and your day runs to time.

  • Other people's nail photos

Pinterest and stock photos of sets you didn't do set expectations your techs then have to meet. The gallery shows your own work, posted with each client's permission and credited to the tech.

  • Hygiene claims you can't back up

"Hospital-grade" or "100% sterile" are claims an inspector or a careful client can test. We write only what you tell us you actually do, in plain words, and nothing more.

How it works

Three steps, and most of the work is ours.

  1. 5 minutes

    Tell us about your business

The short form, or a chat with the team. Send photos, your logo, your menu: whatever you have.

  2. 5 to 7 business days

    Get your free first draft

Screenshots for computer and phone and a private preview link (2 to 3 business days with priority, overnight with rush). Ask for changes in plain words until it's right.

  3. When you're ready

    Approve, pay and launch

Pay the fixed launch fee only when you're happy. With the care plan, we put the site live on your domain and look after it; without it, we hand you the files to host yourself.

Questions about nail salon websites

How much does a nail salon website cost?

Most nail salons choose the Website launch: $499 once for up to 5 pages, paid only after you've approved a free first draft with your own menu on it. A salon with several locations fits the Pro launch. Hosting, your domain and 4 small edits a month, like a new season's sets or a price change, are the optional care plan, $49 a month; without it, the finished site is yours to host. See every price.

Does it work with Vagaro and Fresha?

Yes. Every service and tech gets a Book button that opens your Vagaro or Fresha booking page, or GlossGenius or Square Appointments if that's what you run, so appointments, deposits and reminders stay where your front desk keeps them. We take no commission.

How should we talk about hygiene on the site?

Specifically, and only about what you really do: how tools are cleaned and sterilized, what's single-use and how tubs are cleaned between clients. We write it from what you tell us, keep it to your own practices and your state board's rules, and avoid sweeping claims.

Can you turn our booking system's list into a menu?

Yes. Send the service list from your booking tool, a photo of the price board or a PDF, and we lay it out as a menu with prices, times and add-ons, grouped the way clients choose. We write the words for every page, on every launch.

Will people find us when they search for a nail salon nearby?

Services named the way people search (gel manicure, dip powder, acrylic fill), your address and hours in text, a fast site on a phone and a current Google Business Profile all help, though nobody can promise a position in search results. For monthly work on search, add SEO & AEO care to the care plan.
