Cider for AccountantsFree first draft, no card needed

Accounting firm websites that earn trust early

Cider for Accountants designs websites for CPA firms, bookkeepers and tax preparers: what you do and for whom, the people who sign the work, your hours in and out of tax season, and the client portal one tap away. Every site is designed from a blank page for your practice, never a template. Your first draft is free in 5 to 7 business days, and the fixed launch fee, from $499, comes only when you launch.

Our work

Accounting firm sites we've designed

Four accounting firm sites, each designed from a blank page, from the most classic to the boldest. Each is a real, working website: open one on your phone and try it.

  1. Daybook: the home page on a computer

    Friendly and modern

    Daybook

    Bookkeeping service

Monthly packages picked by how many transactions you have, onboarding step by step, and a free review call booked in a minute.

Made for you

What every accounting firm site we build does

  • Your portal, one tap away

Client portal and secure-upload buttons in the header of every page, opening the portal you already use, with a plain note that tax documents never go by email.

  • Services and fees, stated plainly

Services for individuals and for businesses on their own pages, what each one covers, the industries you know best, and fixed or starting fees if you publish them.

  • Deadlines clients can see

A tax calendar page with the dates your clients ask about, for individuals, businesses and employers, so the reminder comes from you before it comes from a notice.

  • The people who sign the work

Partners, preparers and bookkeepers by name, with the credentials they hold and the work they do, so a new client knows who they'll speak to.

  • Hours that follow the season

Tax-season hours, walk-ins or appointments only, and holiday closings on the first screen and in every footer, written so search engines can read them.

  • Found by people nearby

Page titles that say what you do and where, your name, address and phone the same everywhere, and pages that load fast on the phone in someone's hand in March.

Works with what you use

Linked to the tools you already run

Client files, signatures and payments stay in the portal and practice software you already run; the site's buttons open them, and your scheduler books the consultations. The site never stores client documents, and if you change providers we change the link.

Three steps

How it works

Most of the work is ours. You tell us about your business, we design it, and you launch when you're happy.

  1. 5 minutes

    Tell us about your business

The short form, or a chat with the team. Send photos, your logo, your menu: whatever you have.

  2. 5 to 7 business days

    Get your free first draft

Screenshots for computer and phone and a private preview link (2 to 3 business days with priority, overnight with rush). Ask for changes in plain words until it's right.

  3. When you're ready

    Approve, pay and launch

Pay the fixed launch fee only when you're happy. With the care plan, we put the site live on your domain and look after it; without it, we hand you the files to host yourself.

More on how it works

The pages an accounting firm site usually has

  • Home
  • Services for individuals and businesses
  • About and the team
  • Clients: portal, uploads and tax calendar
  • Contact and consultations

Which plan fits

Most practices say what matters on a handful of pages: the services and who they're for, the people, a page for existing clients, and how to start. That's the Website launch: up to 5 pages for $499, paid once when you launch.

Bigger, or several locations? Every plan, and a custom quote, is below.

Questions

Questions accounting firm owners ask

Not an accounting firm? Cider for Accountants is one part of Cider Websites. See every kind of business we design for.

How much does a website for an accounting firm cost?

Most practices choose the Website launch: $499 once for up to 5 pages, paid only after you've seen a free first draft written about your own services. Hosting comes with the optional care plan, $49 a month, together with your domain and 4 small edits a month for season hours and deadline changes. Every price is public.

Can clients upload documents through the website?

Through your portal, yes. We put clear upload and sign-in buttons on every page that open the portal you already use, such as TaxDome, Canopy or Karbon, which handles the encryption and storage. The website itself never receives or keeps a client's files.

Can the site show a tax-deadline calendar?

Yes. We build a calendar page with the federal dates your clients ask about and any of your own, such as when organizers go out or when you stop taking new returns for the season. Updating it for the next year is one of the care plan's small edits.

We're buried from January to April. When should we build?

Many firms start in late spring or the fall, so the new site is live before the season begins. The first draft is free in 5 to 7 business days, and we ask for one short call and your answers to a few questions, not your evenings in March.

Will our firm show up on Google?

Every site we build has search-ready page titles and descriptions, your address and hours in a form search engines read, and fast pages on a phone. For ongoing search work, add SEO & AEO care to the care plan. Our guide covers getting your business on Google.

We have two offices and pages for each industry we serve. Will that fit?

Yes. Each office can have its own page with its hours and directions, and each industry its own page. Up to 15 pages fit the Pro launch; larger firms get a custom quote.
