Refund policy
The short version: you don't pay until you're happy enough to launch, and if we can't deliver what you paid for, you get your money back.
Drafts
First drafts are free, and you never pay for a draft you didn't approve.
Launch fees
If we can't launch the site you paid for, for a reason on our side, we refund the launch fee in full. Once your site is live on your domain, the launch fee isn't refundable, but tell us what's wrong: changes within your included rounds (5 rounds of changes, or unlimited rounds with the Pro and Signature launches) are on us.
Priority and rush delivery
If we miss a priority or rush target for a reason on our side, we refund that fee.
Care plans and add-ons
You can cancel any time; the plan runs to the end of the period you've paid for. We don't refund part-periods, except where the law requires. If you were charged for a yearly renewal you meant to cancel, tell us within 14 days of the charge and we'll refund it. Add-ons follow the same rules as the plan.
Extras and domains
Extras (extra pages, revision rounds, a logo, copywriting) are refunded in full if we haven't started them. Domain registrations and renewals can't be refunded once registered, because the registrar doesn't refund us.
How to ask
Ask in the chat or email hello@ciderwebsites.com. A person on our team handles every refund and replies within two business days. Refunds go back to the card you paid with, and usually arrive within 5 to 10 business days.
