Website design for dentists

Dentist website design that answers new patients before they call

New patients choose a dentist by what the practice website answers before they pick up the phone: do you take my insurance, are you seeing new patients, what happens at a first visit, and how do I book. We build those answers into the site from the details you send and link every Book button to the scheduling you already use; you see a free first draft in 5 to 7 business days, and the fixed launch fee, from $499, is due only after you approve it.

  • Free first draft
  • Fixed price from $499
  • Pay only at launch

We usually recommend the Pro launch: up to 15 pages, $999 once.

What a dental practice website needs

Services in plain words, insurance answered, the team by name, and a booking button on every page.

  • Insurance answered before the phone rings

A plain list of the plans you're in network with, what you do for out-of-network patients, and the payment and financing options you offer, written from the details you send us and quick to update when a contract changes.

  • New-patient information in one place

What to bring, how early to arrive, how long a first visit takes, whether you see children and from what age, and where to park. One page answers the questions your front desk repeats all day.

  • Treatments explained without jargon

Cleanings, fillings, crowns, implants, clear aligners, whitening and emergency visits: a short section or page for each, saying what it is and what the appointment involves, with no promises about results. Separate treatment pages also give search engines something specific to match.

  • Booking that opens your own system

A call button and a Book an appointment button on every page, linked to the online scheduling you already use. Patient forms stay in your practice's own secure system; the site links to it and never collects them itself.

  • The team by name and face

Dentists, hygienists and the front-desk team with a photo and a line or two each. People choosing a dentist often want to know who they'll see, and a friendly face makes booking easier for anxious patients.

  • Urgent visits made easy to find

Your instructions for a broken tooth or a sudden toothache, whether you keep same-day slots, and the number to call after hours, where a worried person on a phone finds them in seconds.

  • Accessibility and the practical details

Step-free access, elevator or ground-floor rooms, parking and transit, languages your team speaks, and evening or Saturday hours, written as text that screen readers and search engines can both read.

Sample sites we've designed

Sites we designed and built for made-up businesses, to show what we do: open one on your phone and try it. On your site, booking, ordering and shop buttons open the tools you already use.

See all the work

The pages a dental practice site usually has

  • Home
  • Treatments (a page for each main service)
  • New patients
  • Insurance and payment
  • Meet the team
  • Urgent and same-day visits
  • Contact, hours and directions

Which plan fits

A page for each main treatment, plus new patients, insurance and the team, usually needs more room than the Website launch gives. That's the Pro launch: up to 15 pages for $999, paid once when you launch.

What we connect

Scheduling, patient forms and financing stay in the systems your practice already runs: the site's buttons open your online scheduling (your practice-management software's booking page, NexHealth, Zocdoc, Weave, LocalMed or similar), your patient forms and your financing provider, and link your reviews. Anything about a patient's care stays in your own secure system; the website links to it and doesn't collect patient information.

Common mistakes, and how we avoid them

  • Insurance left as "call us to ask"

It's the first question most new patients have, and when the site doesn't answer it, people often try the next practice that does. A current in-network list saves your front desk the same call over and over.

  • Health questions on a website form

A general contact form isn't the place for questions about someone's teeth or health. We leave clinical questions off the website entirely: the booking button opens your own scheduling, and anything personal is asked there or in the chair.

  • Before-and-after promises

Smile galleries and claims about results can set expectations no dentist controls, and your state may have rules about dental advertising. We describe what each treatment involves, use the wording you give us, and you approve every page.

  • A booking button you have to hunt for

Someone with a toothache, on a phone, late at night, won't dig through menus. Call and Book stay pinned to the bottom of every phone screen, and the office number is always one tap away.

How it works

Three steps, and most of the work is ours.

  1. 5 minutes

    Tell us about your business

The short form, or a chat with the team. Send photos, your logo, your menu: whatever you have.

  2. 5 to 7 business days

    Get your free first draft

Screenshots for computer and phone and a private preview link (2 to 3 business days with priority, overnight with rush). Ask for changes in plain words until it's right.

  3. When you're ready

    Approve, pay and launch

Pay the fixed launch fee only when you're happy. With the care plan, we put the site live on your domain and look after it; without it, we hand you the files to host yourself.

Questions dental practice owners ask

How much does a dental website cost?

Most practices choose the Pro launch: $999 once for up to 15 pages, enough for a page per treatment, paid only after you've approved a free first draft. Hosting, your domain and 4 small edits a month, such as an insurance plan added or dropped, are the optional care plan, $49 a month; none of that is in the launch fee. Groups with several offices can ask for a custom quote, and our guide shows what websites cost elsewhere.

Can patients book appointments on our website?

Yes, through the scheduling you already use. A Book button on every page opens your online booking, whether that's your practice-management software, NexHealth, Zocdoc, Weave, LocalMed or another tool, so appointments land in your schedule the way they do today.

Can new patients fill in their forms on the website?

They can reach them from it: we link to the forms in your own secure patient system, and the website itself doesn't collect them. That keeps patient information inside the system your practice already manages.

Can you list the insurance plans we accept?

Yes. Send us the list and we give it its own clear page, alongside your payment and financing options. When a plan changes, updating it counts as one of the 4 small edits a month in the care plan.

Will our dental practice show up on Google?

A well-made site helps: a page for each treatment, your address and hours in a form search engines read, and pages that load fast on a phone. Rankings depend on things nobody controls, so we don't promise them; SEO & AEO care adds monthly tuning, and Google Business Profile upkeep is a separate add-on.

Do you write the descriptions of our treatments?

You can send your own words, or have us write them from a short call. We write the words for every page, on every launch. Either way we avoid claims about outcomes, and nothing goes live until you approve it.
