Website design for yoga studios

Yoga studio website design, from timetable to first class

The job of a yoga studio website is to take a nervous beginner from "I should try yoga" to booked into a first class: a timetable that's always right, an intro offer that's easy to find, and booking that takes seconds. We build it around the scheduler you already use, so the site shows the same timetable your teachers update, and send a free first draft in 5 to 7 business days; you pay a fixed launch fee from $499 when, and only if, you're happy to launch.

  • Free first draft
  • Fixed price from $499
  • Pay only at launch

We usually recommend the Website launch: up to 5 pages, $499 once.

What a yoga studio website needs

The live timetable, a clear intro offer and classes explained by level, with booking right beside them.

  • A timetable that's never out of date

Your schedule comes straight from your booking system as an embed or a clear link, so a cover teacher or a canceled class shows up the moment you change it there, with nothing to retype on the website.

  • An intro offer people can find

A first-week pass, a new-student price or a free first class, named on the home page and the pricing page with one button to buy it in your scheduler. It's often the reason a newcomer books at all.

  • Class styles and levels in plain words

What vinyasa, yin, restorative, hot or reformer pilates actually feels like, who each class is for, and which ones suit a complete beginner. Beginners often hold back because they're unsure, not because they're uninterested.

  • Teacher bios with faces

A photo of each teacher, the styles they lead, their training and a line in their own voice. Students tend to follow a teacher, and a bio is how a new one chooses which class to try.

  • Everything about the first visit

What to bring, whether mats and props are provided, how early to arrive, changing rooms and showers, where to park and which door to use. It makes the first class feel easy before it starts.

  • Memberships and class packs side by side

Drop-ins, class packs and memberships compared on one page, each linked to buy in your scheduler, with freeze and cancellation terms stated up front rather than in small print.

  • Workshops, trainings and retreats

Dates, what's included, who it suits and how to sign up, linked to your scheduler or event tool, so the bigger offerings don't hide in a newsletter. They can start as a section on the timetable page and get pages of their own as the program grows.

Sample sites we've designed

Sites we designed and built for made-up businesses, to show what we do: open one on your phone and try it. On your site, booking, ordering and shop buttons open the tools you already use.

See all the work

The pages a yoga studio site usually has

  • Home with the intro offer
  • Timetable and pricing (live from your scheduler)
  • Classes and levels
  • Teachers
  • New students: what to expect, location and contact

Which plan fits

A single studio can cover the essentials in a handful of pages (home, timetable and pricing, classes, teachers, and new students with contact), with trainings and retreats getting pages of their own later. That's the Website launch: up to 5 pages for $499, paid once when you launch.

What we connect

Your class scheduler and memberships (Mindbody, Momence, Walla, Arketa or similar) stay in charge of classes; the site embeds or links them, along with gift cards, workshop sign-ups, your newsletter and reviews. Students keep booking and paying where they do today, and none of it passes through us or carries a commission to us.

Common mistakes, and how we avoid them

  • A timetable typed into the website

A schedule copied by hand into a web page drifts within weeks, and a student who turns up for a class that moved may not come back. The site should show the scheduler's live timetable, never a copy.

  • Prices hidden behind the booking app

If the only way to see what a class costs is to download an app or make an account, plenty of people stop there. Prices and the intro offer belong on an ordinary page anyone can open.

  • Only advanced poses in the photos

Handstands and deep backbends look striking, but they tell a beginner the studio isn't for them. Show real classes, mixed levels and the room itself.

  • Nothing for the first visit

Without a word on what to bring, how early to come or where to go, the first class feels like a test. A short New here? page takes a lot of the nerves out of it.

How it works

Three steps, and most of the work is ours.

  1. 5 minutes

    Tell us about your business

The short form, or a chat with the team. Send photos, your logo, your menu: whatever you have.

  2. 5 to 7 business days

    Get your free first draft

Screenshots for computer and phone and a private preview link (2 to 3 business days with priority, overnight with rush). Ask for changes in plain words until it's right.

  3. When you're ready

    Approve, pay and launch

Pay the fixed launch fee only when you're happy. With the care plan, we put the site live on your domain and look after it; without it, we hand you the files to host yourself.

Questions yoga studio owners ask

How much does a yoga studio website cost?

A single studio usually chooses the Website launch: $499 once for up to 5 pages, paid only when the site is ready to go live and you're happy with it. Hosting isn't in that fee; it comes with the optional care plan, $49 a month or $490 a year, along with your domain. A studio with several locations, teacher trainings and retreats tends to suit the Pro launch. See all our prices, and whether you have to pay monthly for a website.

Can my website show my Mindbody or Momence schedule?

Yes. We embed or link your scheduler's live timetable and booking, so changes you make there appear on the site straight away, and students book and pay in the system you already use.

Do I need a website if students already book through an app?

Yes, especially for new students. The app serves people who already know you; a website is how someone searching for beginner yoga or a pilates class nearby finds you, understands the classes and books the intro offer.

What should a yoga studio website include?

At least the live timetable, the intro offer and prices, class descriptions by level, teacher bios, what to bring on a first visit, and your location and contact details. Our guide to what a small business website should include covers the rest.

Does this work for pilates, barre or other movement studios?

Yes. Reformer pilates, barre and other movement studios need the same things: a live schedule, clear levels, an intro offer and booking close at hand. We shape the pages around your classes, equipment and space.

Can you update the site when we add teachers or workshops?

Yes. Tell us who's joining or what's coming up and we'll add it; the care plan includes 4 small edits a month, and the timetable updates itself from your scheduler, so for most studios that's plenty.
