Website design for restaurants

Restaurant website design, done for you

Restaurant websites have three jobs: show the menu, say when you're open, and get the table booked or the order placed. We build yours around the menus you actually serve and the reservation and ordering tools already running at the host stand, with a free first draft in 5 to 7 business days; you see your own menu on it before paying anything, and the fixed launch fee, from $499, comes only when you launch.

  • Free first draft
  • Fixed price from $499
  • Pay only at launch

We usually recommend the Website launch: up to 5 pages, $499 once.

What a restaurant website needs

Menus that read well on a phone, hours that are always right, and reservations in two taps.

  • A menu people can read in line

A real web page for every menu you serve, never a PDF: dinner, brunch, happy hour, the kids' menu and drinks, each with the hours it runs, so nobody arrives mid-afternoon expecting the brunch they saw. Dietary tags (vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free) and allergen notes sit beside each dish, with a line on how the kitchen handles allergies. It loads fast on a phone, search engines read it as easily as people do, and seasonal changes go in with a quick edit.

  • Hours and location at a glance

Opening hours, holiday changes, the address with a map link and parking or transit notes, on the first screen and in the footer of every page.

  • Reservations in two taps

One clear button to your booking page, repeated where people decide: next to the menu, on private dining, and on the phone's sticky bar.

  • Ordering that doesn't send people elsewhere first

Takeout and delivery buttons that open your own ordering page, so guests don't land on a marketplace's list of your competitors.

  • Photos that sell the room and the food

Your own photos, cropped and compressed so the page stays fast. If you don't have good ones yet, we lay the page out so they're easy to add later.

  • Private dining, catering and large orders

A page for group bookings, events and catering: the capacity of each room, set menus and prices per head, and the lead times, minimums and pickup or delivery options for catering trays and office orders. A short inquiry asks for the date, headcount and budget, because these are often a restaurant's best covers and its biggest tickets.

  • Found in local search

Your name, address and phone the same everywhere, page titles that say what you serve and where, and hours written as text search engines can read.

The pages a restaurant site usually has

  • Home
  • Menus (dinner, brunch, happy hour, kids, drinks)
  • Reservations, private dining and catering
  • About the restaurant and the team
  • Contact, hours and location

Which plan fits

A single-location restaurant can say everything that matters on a handful of pages: home, the menus, reservations with private dining and catering, the story and the team, and hours and location. That's the Website launch: up to 5 pages for $499, paid once when you launch.

What we connect

Reservations, ordering and gift cards stay on the platforms you already run, and the site's buttons open them: OpenTable, Resy, Tock or your own booking page, your online ordering, your gift cards and your reviews. We take no commission on bookings or orders, and if you change providers later we just change the link.

Common mistakes, and how we avoid them

  • A PDF menu

It's slow on a phone, means pinching and zooming, is harder for search engines to read well, and is usually out of date. A menu page fixes all four.

  • Hours buried or wrong

Whether you're open right now is one of the first things people check. Wrong hours online cost covers and earn bad reviews; they belong on every page.

  • Booking hidden behind a menu

If reserving takes more than two taps, people call a competitor that makes it easy. The button should never be more than a thumb away.

  • Autoplay video and giant photos

Beautiful, but slow on a phone signal, and a slow page loses guests before it loads. We keep every page light.

How it works

Three steps, and most of the work is ours.

  1. 5 minutes

    Tell us about your business

The short form, or a chat with the team. Send photos, your logo, your menu: whatever you have.

  2. 5 to 7 business days

    Get your free first draft

Screenshots for computer and phone and a private preview link (2 to 3 business days with priority, overnight with rush). Ask for changes in plain words until it's right.

  3. When you're ready

    Approve, pay and launch

Pay the fixed launch fee only when you're happy. With the care plan, we put the site live on your domain and look after it; without it, we hand you the files to host yourself.

Questions restaurant owners ask

How much does a restaurant website cost?

Most restaurants choose the Website launch: $499 once for up to 5 pages, paid only after you've seen a free first draft with your own menu on it. Hosting isn't part of that fee: it comes with the optional care plan, $49 a month, together with your domain and 4 small edits a month for menu and hours changes. Groups with several locations or a big events program usually choose the Pro launch. Our guide sets out what a small business website costs elsewhere, and every price is public.

Can you put our menu online without a PDF?

Yes. We build each menu as a proper page from your PDF, photos of the printed menu or a list, with the dietary tags and allergen notes you give us, and update it when it changes; a new dish or a price change is one of the care plan's small edits.

Can guests book a table or order on the site?

Yes, through the services you already use. We add clear buttons to your reservations and ordering pages, so bookings and orders still arrive where your team expects them.

Do restaurant websites need online ordering, or is a delivery app enough?

A delivery app helps new customers find you, but it takes a commission on every order placed through it. Linking your own online ordering (Toast, Square or similar) from the site gives regulars a direct way to order, and those direct orders avoid the marketplace's commission. We take no commission either: you pay for the site, and the orders are yours. Many restaurants keep both, with the apps for discovery and the website's Order button for the people who already know you.

Will my restaurant show up on Google?

Every site we build has search-ready page titles and descriptions, your hours and address in a form search engines read, and a fast mobile page. For ongoing search work, add SEO & AEO care to the care plan, with Google Business Profile upkeep alongside it if you want your listing kept current too.

We have three locations. Can each have its own page?

Yes. Each location gets its own page with its hours, menu notes and booking link. Up to 15 pages fit the Pro launch; larger groups get a custom quote.
