Website design for plumbers

Plumbing and HVAC websites made for the emergency call

When a pipe bursts or the furnace dies, a plumbing or HVAC website has to let the person call you in one tap, then show what you fix, which towns you cover and that you're licensed and insured. We build it with the call button pinned to every phone screen and a page for each service people search for, send a free first draft in 5 to 7 business days, and you pay the fixed launch fee, from $499, only when you're happy with it.

  • Free first draft
  • Fixed price from $499
  • Pay only at launch

We usually recommend the Pro launch: up to 15 pages, $999 once.

What a plumbing company website needs

Tap to call on every screen, emergency hours stated up front, and a page for every service and town you cover.

  • Tap to call on every screen

On a phone, a call button pinned to the bottom of every page, with the number also written out in the header so it can be read and dialed from a desktop. Someone with water on the floor wants to call, not read.

  • Emergency hours, stated honestly

If you take calls at night and on weekends, say so on the first screen with the hours you cover and any after-hours rate note. If you don't, say when you're back, so nobody waits on a voicemail.

  • A page for each core service

Drain cleaning, water heaters, leak repair, repiping, sewer lines, furnaces, air conditioning, heat pumps and maintenance: each with what you do, the signs someone needs it, and a call or quote button. These are the pages people's searches land on.

  • Service-area towns in writing

The towns and neighborhoods you cover, listed as text on the home and contact pages, with a page for each main town if you want to be found by name, and a note on any trip charge outside them.

  • Licenses, insurance and certifications

Your license numbers, insurance, manufacturer certifications and trade memberships, as you supply them, close to the call button. People letting a stranger into their home look for these.

  • Real jobs, before and after

Photos of your vans, your crew and finished work, like a neatly installed water heater or a tidied mechanical room, show that you're local and careful in a way stock photos never do.

  • A quote form, financing and plans

A one-minute quote form for jobs that can wait, a link to your financing partner for replacements, and a page on your maintenance or membership plan with what's included and how to join through the tool you already use.

Sample sites we've designed

Sites we designed and built for made-up businesses, to show what we do: open one on your phone and try it. On your site, booking, ordering and shop buttons open the tools you already use.

See all the work

The pages a plumbing company site usually has

  • Home
  • Emergency service and hours
  • A page per service (drains, water heaters, heating, cooling)
  • Service area and towns
  • Maintenance plans and financing
  • About, licenses and insurance
  • Request a quote

Which plan fits

Most plumbing and HVAC companies want a page for each core service and for each main town they cover, plus emergency and financing pages. That's the Pro launch: up to 15 pages for $999, paid once when you launch.

What we connect

Booking, dispatch and memberships stay in the software your office already runs on, such as ServiceTitan, Housecall Pro or Jobber; the site's buttons open its online booking, your financing partner's application and your maintenance-plan sign-up, and link your review profiles. Calls ring your own number and quote requests come to you, with no commission or per-lead charge of the kind lead-generation services take.

Common mistakes, and how we avoid them

  • A number you have to hunt for

If the phone number is an image, sits only in the footer or can't be tapped, a customer in a hurry calls the next result. It should sit on every screen, ready to dial.

  • Plumbing, heating and cooling on one page

One page with every service on it doesn't match what people search, such as "water heater replacement" or "furnace repair". Separate pages give each search something specific to find.

  • Promising 24/7 when nobody answers

If the site says round-the-clock service and the phone goes to voicemail at night, you've earned a bad review. Write the hours you actually cover, and update them when they change.

  • Seasonal offers left up all year

An air conditioning tune-up offer in January, or a furnace special in July, tells visitors nobody minds the site. We swap seasonal messages as small edits on the care plan.

How it works

Three steps, and most of the work is ours.

  1. 5 minutes

    Tell us about your business

The short form, or a chat with the team. Send photos, your logo, your menu: whatever you have.

  2. 5 to 7 business days

    Get your free first draft

Screenshots for computer and phone and a private preview link (2 to 3 business days with priority, overnight with rush). Ask for changes in plain words until it's right.

  3. When you're ready

    Approve, pay and launch

Pay the fixed launch fee only when you're happy. With the care plan, we put the site live on your domain and look after it; without it, we hand you the files to host yourself.

Questions plumbing company owners ask

How much does a plumbing website cost?

Most plumbing and HVAC companies choose the Pro launch: $999 once for up to 15 pages, enough for a page per service and per main town, due only once you've approved the site. Hosting isn't part of the launch fee: it's the optional care plan, $49 a month, which also covers your domain and small edits. A one-truck plumber with a few services may fit the Website launch ($499). See all our prices, and our guide to what a small business website costs.

Will a website get my plumbing company more calls?

A website helps most when it makes calling effortless and answers what people check first: the services you offer, the towns you cover, your hours, and your license and insurance. Ongoing search work, answer-engine tuning for chat-style search tools and a current Google Business Profile all help too: SEO & AEO care and Google Business Profile upkeep are care add-ons, though no one can promise rankings.

Can I show my service area on my website?

Yes. We list your towns as text on the home and contact pages, add a map, and can give each main town its own page with the services you offer there. Keep the list realistic: towns you rarely reach bring calls you'll turn down.

Should my plumbing website have a page for each service?

Yes, for your core services. Someone searching for tankless water heater installation is better served by a page about exactly that than by a general list, and search engines can match it more easily.

Can customers book a plumber online from my website?

Yes, through the scheduling software you already use, such as ServiceTitan, Housecall Pro or Jobber: we add a book online button next to tap to call. For anything else there's a short quote form that comes straight to you.

Do HVAC companies need a different website from plumbers?

The structure is the same: tap to call, service pages, service area and credentials. What changes is the services (furnace repair, AC installation, heat pumps, duct cleaning) and the seasons, with heating up front in the fall and cooling in the spring, which we swap as small edits on the care plan.
